I have used all the tools and added the circular saw and it fits in the bag as well.. All the tool work great and w/ the XC batteries there is always power on tap.. Recipricating saw will eat batteries if your cutting major limbs but I have plenty of batteries and 2 chargers so its all good.. The best tools for the money.. When I go on a job we use my tools not someone else's inferior stuff.. I like saving time.. I don't get caught up waiting on a battery to charge, or looking for a charged battery, the batteries once charged hold it. I am satisfied & then some.

The tools worked well however the batteries do not hold the charge for more than a day and they went bad after 6 months of ownership. I went back to using my old reliable corded tools.

I'm very pleased with this purchase and have been putting everything, except the pointless (Non-LED) shop light, to regular use. I'm still not sure why the manufacturers think we want an old flashlight in this era. The stand out feature for me is the battery system. It holds a charge forever and when it finally dies, it charges fully in under an hour....awesome. I'm quite happy that I made this purchase choice.

I use every tool in this kit every day I love the drill from using the hammer mode to drilling holes with a hole saw the drill holds up to anything I can throw at it. The impact driver works great drives screws effortlessly and it's also very light the sawzall works amazing very fast cuts threw everything I need it too the battery could last a bit longer tho but it's not a big deal and the light is nice and bright. I wold highly recommend this kit to anyone in the plumbing and hvac field.

I have been using this set of tools for about 6 months on the job. I have had no problems whatsoever. The battery life indicator is great, no more guess work since lithium batteries tend to die with little warning. The drill delivers on all 3 settings. The hammer drill setting is particularly impressive, plenty of power, only restriction is battery life. It will drill 5/8" holes no problem. The impact driver has great torque, it will power right through your material it you aren't careful. The Sawzall is powerful, smooth, and the blade quick release is a nice feature. In the past when using a sawzall, whenever the blade got pinched the saw kicked like crazy. With this tool, when a blade bind is detected it automatically disconnects the drive shaft from the motor, the tool stops before you can even tell what happen. It allows you to free the tool and start again without the kicking damaging the tool or you.
The light in this kit is nothing special but nice to have.
All the tools feel nice and solid without excessive weight. Sometimes I find that other cordless tools have a toy or plastic feel to them.
If Milwaukee continues to produce these kinds of tools, I will be a customer for life. I look forward to trying more of their tools.

I have had other cordless brands but was turned on to milwaukee due to thier years of experience. I love the battery charge indicator on each pack. Now I dont guess on the charge.... I use them in the AC field. My boss liked my set so much he dumped his Dewalt set for Milwaukee.

Just Awesome! I am a professional Contractor and have been using a competitors product for years. Then last Christmas I received the Milwaukee Impact driver/Lithium combo set as a gift. What sold me was the quality of there tools. The weight, power and torque of these tools are outstanding. The battery power and the charge gauge is a huge help! So today i switched over my entire Tool sets to Milwaukee. No more Yellow and black for for me. Hello Red-n-White, Milwaukee. Very happy to be totally invested in the Milwaukee Family...

I was a bit concerned about purchasing this kit. I have had some issues with other brands compact or home owners type cordless tools in the past. I have had no issues what so ever with this tools set. The compact drill and impact have plenty of power and the sawzall is a huge improvement from my last battery powered recip saw. The only negative thing about this kit is the light. The light is great for what it is but it is still an incandescent type bulb. I do not understand why any tool maufacturer would use this type of bulb when the LED option offers more light output and longer runtime.
I have used many brands of tools at work and none of them come close to Milwaukee when it comes to making Lithium Ion batteries. And the built in charge indicator on the batteries is far more useful than I ever imagined. I would highly recomend this kit to any serious do it yourself person. Just keep the batteries from getting too hot or too cold and it will serve you very well.

I use each tool every day. Works really good and holds together doing heavy jobs. The Drill Motor works great on both drilling and tapping threads alternating the forward and reverse, as well as heavy hammer drilling concrete. The Sawzall cuts metal precisely with the fine tooth metal cutting blade, and is great for pruning trees with the wood cutting blade. The Impact Driver and Work Light both work long and hard.

I bought this kit at the local HD the other day. Basically, I was looking for a full-sized cordless drill/driver. One requirement was that the drill have a side handle. Drills of this nature have a lot of torque, and I am not Superman.
Once in the store, I talked myself into a combo kit.
It came down to a choice between the Milwaukee and the Ridgid. The rep for those brands was present, and was very helpful. Apparently, they are both owned by the same Hong Kong holding company.
The Ridgid was a compelling value proposition: not only do the tools ( and batteries! ) have a lifetime warranty, but they were throwing in a free third battery. It was a tough decision between the two sets. I made it on ( I guess ) a silly basis - I just didn't like the garish "teenage sneakers" styling of the Ridgid tools. And I already have Milwaukee M12 stuff, and it has never failed me.
I had been wondering why all the kits have impact drivers - figured that out as soon as I got it home. Put it to work on a shed building project - the thing drives big decking screws like magic! I couldn't get over it. Especially the fact that it's not torquing my wrist - you just have to push on it hard enough so the bit doesn't slip out, and the hammer mechanism takes up all the torque. My only beef with this particular tool is maybe it's too powerful - the lowest "starting" speed is still pretty fast, and if you're not pushing on the fastener hard enough, the bit will instantly slip out and spin on top of the screw. Be nice if it had more of a "teasing" trigger.
My other small beef about this kit concerns the drill. Remember the side handle? Well, there is none. Despite the ads showing a side handle, AND there being a side handle on the store display, there is NO SIDE HANDLE INCLUDED IN THE KIT. Apparently this is a cost cutting measure - I verified on the Internet that they are not including them. So I called the store, and got them to give me the side handle out of the display. After all, if there's none in the box, why does the display need one?
Just for yuks, I chucked a pruning blade in the sawzall and chopped up a few scrap tree branches. Went through them like butter. Nice tool. I bet the battery life is limited in that function, but it will be so nice to have an effective battery operated tool for occasional pruning.
The tools are all very solid, and I fully expect that in my occasional ( but heavy ) homeowner use they will last me forever.

This is the second Milwaukee combo kit I've owned. The first one never did die; my reason for upgrading was to get the new lithium ion batteries (lighter and longer lasting charge) as well as to get a circular saw (which I bought seperately). The drill has performed flawlessly; not much to say other than the fact that I wont have to buy a new one for a VERY long time. The driver is such a great little tool. Light, compact, and full of power. Need I say more? I havent used the recipro saw yet but if it is as solid as the one with my previous kit I'll not be disappointed. The light is...well...a light. Super bright and handy but it is a light. Nothing special but then again, I didnt buy the kit for the light. Bottom line, I could build anything under the sun with this kit. Rock solid with power to spare. Pretty spendy but then again, I wont have to worry about buying another one any time soon.

These are the best power tools you can buy. The drill I use all the time and it never fails. I never have to worry about enough power or the battery draining. The battery life is great with the product.

bought this kit the other day, i made them open all the boxes and compared to darker blue german ones,the yellow ones, the light blue ones side by side. The german name darker blue ones rep was there and told me the best was theirs because they were made in germany but when i looked at each tool the labels said made in china or made in malaysia. go figure. Anyway, as far as feeling heavy and stout milwaukee all the way. As far as less plastic, milwaukee all the way. more torque, milwaukee. I went in with an open mind and was willing to buy any of them but milwaukee won and yes they are also made in china like everything else but yellow ones made in mexico. anoying thing though, the light bulb filiment broke the first day and the drill did not come with a side handle unless i was just lucky and got that box. i couldnt break the rules and use the brand names.

I don't think there is better. Hammer drill is powerful. Sawzall cuts just about like an electric saw. Impact wrench, well I can't brag enough and the light is plenty bright.
