Brushed Nickel Finish with Parchment Glass Instant Pendant Light Conversion Kit
Compatible with both traditional and contemporary decor, this transitional style instant pendant light conversion kit makes for an economical & effortless home improvement project. Simply replace the existing recessed can's light bulb by screwing in the pendant lighting socket adapter. Adjust cord length with the wrap-around cord spindle. Decorative cover plate seals off and hides recessed light opening.Also available as a hard-wire pendant light (Item # PBH-6012).

These work as outlined by the other customers. The only little quirks are:
1) Getting the "dome" to fit snug on the ceiling. Takes some tinkering, but don't pull too hard!
2) Getting cord lengths to be EXACTLY the same on two side-by-side units can be tricky.
3) One of my two glass diffusers sits a little crooked over the bulb. Haven't managed to fix that yet, but I'll probably take it apart and screw it back to together.
Overall, the concept and price is pretty awesome.
Pros: Easy to Assemble, Looks Great, Very Bright, Nice Design
Cons: takes quite a bit of adjusting multiple units

The look is great, the price affordable. No electrician needed. Took all of two minutes to change the look of the kitchen. Love it. Even uses a cfl bulb to save money.

easy to install. My husband thought he would have to hard wire these lights in, but I surprised him by doing everything myself. He thought - wow, she's an electrician, but no, all I had to do was take out the original light bulbs and install this light, looks great !! easy !@

I purchased 4 of them. They took about 5-10 minutes per light to install. They have been in for over one month...three are up 18 feet high. Two of them have had a bit of slippage around the face plate...other than that...they are gorgeous, a great price, and worth waiting for...they were initially out of stock. Love them!!

I have installed 6 and love the additional light in my kitchen and hall after the old can lights that lit the attic. However, the plastic bracket arm for wrapping the cord inside the fixture has sheared off from stress on 2 - one within a month, and now another at 3 months! At some point I won't be able to get a matching replacement and then what do I do? Great idea and would be effective if better built/designed. Very unhappy with the quality.
Pros: Looks Great
Cons: 2 of 6 fell apart
No, I do not recommend this product.
