Please if you are reading this stay away from Brinkmann. Grill was of the worst quality. Grill broke second day. Customer service at Brinkmann is terrible if not the worst I have ever encountered. Bought this grill thinking Iwould save Afew bucks ,and what a Big mistake.complete garbage....After four calls to Brinkmann and no help luckily Home Depot stepped up and returned the grill and I went on to buy a Weber. Please dont waste your time or money on any Brinkmann product. Remember cheaper is not always better. STAY AWAY FROM BRINKMANN!

I am giving this grill some time as I just bought it in April to replace my $500 Weber that lasted 10yrs. The wheels on this new grill are plastic; not very sturdy or stable; side burner would not ignite. My neighbor tried to fix it; no luck. Finally my nephew came over; was able to jiggle something; got the side burner started. I was hoping that I would not have to return it. Anyhow, I finally got to use the Brinkman for the 1st time this past Saturday. Grill was easy to light, got hot real fast. Did a nice job cooking. I intend to keep it covered in bad weather after reading some reviews about rusting. Now this scares me. During winter I will pull it under my patio cover for protection against snow etc. Hopefully it won't rust before next summer or it's "goodbye" Brinkman!!! I'll give it a little more time though and report back whether good or bad!!!

This grill was a great price. For 199, it is a large sturdy grill with a large base that was a breeze to assemble. 30 mins and it was functional. Great heat control. overall good buy

I bought this grill a few years ago and agree with some of the other reviews. The insides of my grill are disintegrating and the knobs are stripped and I have trouble turning it on. I priced the replacement parts that I would need and it would cost almost as much as a new grill.

I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I first bought this grill to replace a nicer product which birds had nested in. (I let the birds stay and grow out of their nest) so initially I didn't want to spend a lot of money to use for a season but looking back in hind sight, I think I should have.
The pros of this grill are A) that it's very easy to assemble B) get's plenty hot & C) easy to start. So this grill was meeting expectations and I happened to be extremely pleased for the first 2 seasons I owned this.
Now for the bad part: the burners are failing, the regulator is whacky and the burner covers are disintegrating... after investigating that the parts will cost almost as much as the original price. Now I have decided to just purchase a new grill in the neighborhood of $400-500 from a reputable brand.
In summary, I suggest this grill for a temporary situation and keep expectations low. It performs for a small duration of ownership and it's a good value if you only want something for a short period.

I am so frustrated with my Brinkmann and with Home Depot that I am writing my first review ever.
All of the parts rusted through or disintegrated after only one season - the burners, the connectors, and the heat tents. Because they rusted, the burners were impossible to remove without drilling out the screws that held them in. Home Depot does not sell the connectors between the burners (that allow one to light the next) and only sells generic replacement burners and heat tents. No more Brinkmann grills for me no matter what the price!

For the price you will not find a nicer grill. I had the older model of this grill for 3 years and never had an issue. I grill year round and the grates and heat shields were rusting out. It would have been 140.00 just to replace the grates and shields, so 200 for a whole new grill was a no brainer. The only weak part of the grill is the wheels, which are plastic and seem somewhat flimsey. But as long as you aren't dragging it down the street everyday they should last just fine.

Side burner does not light (might just need ignitor adjustment), and 1 of the stoppers at the lid/base interface is missing. I bought the grill assembled, so perhaps these issues generate from the assembly at Home Depot. Other than that the grill works great and looks great.

I'm not one to buy real expensive grills. I'd rather buy middle of the road grills, use them for 5 years and go out and buy new. This grill was marked down for end of the season so it was especially attractive. Seems to cook evenly and starts up when it should. I wish it had a temp gauge, but that's about it.

the grill does not get hot. even with the lid closed the grates will not get hot enough to put marks in your steak. you have to keek clicking the nob several times before the burner lights. spend more $ and get a better grill

My wife was able to put it together. The drop tray featured in the back makes for easy cleaning and the knob ignition was the simplest. Awesome grill surface to accomidate my next block party. I liked the heavy duty feel of it. No thermastat was the only thing missing.

This is a great grill. I have used it several times for family get togethers. Lots of room for 5 tri-tips and very easy to maneuver them over the flame. Very easy to clean and light, turning the dial is simple. I am glad I bought it. I picked it up at the store and the staff was very helpful loading in my pickup.

I was not very impressed with the quality of this purchase. If I did not open this box myself, I NEVER would have believed it was brand new! Aside from the scratches all over the place, the cooking grates have chips and gouges on both sides of each grate.
On a more positive note, it was easy to assemble ... BUT, be careful with the screws ... the screwdriver included tends to assist more in stripping the screws than actually tightening/loosening them : - )
Overall, for 200 buck, you get what you pay for!

you can not use more than two burners at once or any burners and the side burner at once.There is not enough propane preasure to keep them burning.If you try to lighting the side burner while others are on ,they will go off.The grill does not get hot enough to cook.Its a very bad design.Ive had it look at by a professional and it is just how the grill is made to operate.

Had this grill for 5 years it finally succumbed to excessive use of seasoned salt. I used this grill year round every year. the cross over bars finally died last week going to replace it with the same model.

the grill looks good and low cost but it does not heat evenly. The back of the grill gets a lot hotter than the front, also weld that holds small metal piece that channels the flame between burners (so you can light all the burners) broke I had to drill and put screws in it so it would work. I have only had grill for 5 months. I have feeling there will be more problems.

Great grill....so far! Just bought it about a month ago. Working great so far, but the judgment will be more valid in a year or so. MUCH less expensive than other grills. Had always bought a Charbroil because they held up so well, but truthfully I can buy two of the Brinkmans for about the same as one comparable Charbroil, so I figured if it rusts out quickly, I'm not losing a whole lot.
