I wish there was a better way to hold the gas. If there would of been a tray or shelve of some sort on the bottom and the gas went right under it I think it would of made it perfect!!

Bought this grill almost 2 years ago and have had ZERO issues with it. I see alll the reviews that state it will warp , rust , fall apart. I guess those were not taken care of as the product paperwork requests. I have a grill cover and wipe it down after every use. There is NO rust and I have seen no warpping on my grill. I have owned more expensive grills and have not been as satisfied as I am with this grill. I use this grill at least 6-10 times a month and still love it. The only thing that I would have liked to seen done differently is the handle on the charcol side will melt if too much charcol is in the grill, other than that - if you treat it right it will be a great grill for the price.

The heating on the gas side is marginal and loses a lot of heat through the chimney vent and the rear venting. Even with all 3 elements on high its difficult to cook with half of the grill filled with meat. I've only used the smoker as a normal charcoal grill which is pretty basic. Its cheap though and will get you by for a couple of years.

Bought this grill two summers ago and will be buying a different one this year. The paint warped, you have to remove the top shelf if you want to cook anything thicker than a hot dog. The grease does not all go in the grease pan and it can catch fire and cause quite a blaze and drips on the patio. The inside started to rust right away and the end handle is so flimsy it makes it hard to move if you need to. It has to be out of the wind or the wind blows in the large back vents and blows out the gas flame. One of the worst purchases ever! The only good thing was they put it together at the store free.

Not happy as after buying the product and receiving the box in bad shape, I found that pieces (bolts for example) were missing from the box making the assembly impossible. Go with a carry-on model or buy something assembled to avoid having surprises. My first BBQ at home almost failed and I had to buy another product to grill my meat... Terrible packing and heavy product to put in your car to return, I recommend using other method to return by the way....The return was simple and service to do it was great

I've had this grill for two summers. I have kept this grill clean and covered .Charcoal grate will warp and rust in the first few uses , but will still function and you know you are going to have to replace it. We used both sides many times the first summer. Next summer you really start seeing rust on all interior parts. Burner , grill plates, charcoal holder etc.. tonite went to start gas side ,all grates rusted to the point that i don't want to use them. we lite the grill ,entire burner fell apart from rust, flames coming out the back.shut off the valve and now it is going in the garbage.So we got two seasons out of this grill not really a bargain.

Great dual grill for a great price. It's great being able to choose how to prepare your food. The gas grill is reliable and predictable in its heating and cooking. The charcoal grill is great also. The only reason I did not give this set a grade of excellent is the handle on the end of the grill is a bit wimpy and I'm always scared when I move it that it's going to snap off. Either beef-up the handle or put casters on all the legs to make it easy to move.

Love the functionality of the grill though the quality is lacking.. You get what you pay for.. The one I purchased was dinged up since it was the last one in the store and it was the floor model.. It's a nice looking piece on my patio and I like how I can use propane if I'm in a rush or charcoal if I want to slow cook. If you have the time, purchase from the store and put it together yourself.

I submitted a review in error for the cover. Excellent product for the funds spent. If it takes 3 hours to assemble, it does; but worth the effort. Every nut and bolt lined up with every opening. Great Craftsmanship, about time.

This is a great barbeque! It's big, but not too bulky and you have the option of gas or charcoal, so when you really want a charcoal tasting hamburger, you've got it!
The side burner is great for keeping sauces or "sides" warm. I would definitely suggest having it assembled at the store and make sure you have a big truck or van for pick-up.

Quality of metal started breaking down due to the heat in the charcoal side. the charcoal holders broke in less than 1 season. barrel welds were not complete resulting in grease leaking from the ends. I returned in just in time.
The idea is great but only if it quality material would have been used.

GREAT! Charcoal side worked great and was easy to cook with. We had purchased the additional fire/box attachment and smoked ribs and porkloin fantastic and steaks. The gas side worked great for steaks, hot dogs and burgers. This unit was strong and very easy to maintain after assembled. HAHA
Now the bad side! We had to assemble it and it took 1hour and 40 mins. But again, this was with the optional fire/box on the side of the charcoal burner.
Well worth the money and time. Had to buy a cover and a bottle for it too! 66" cover. It will last the rest of my lifetime.

I have had this grill for over a year now and I love just as much as the day I bought it. I did buy the side smoker with the grill and use it often. The charcoal side does take a bit of getting used to as far as adjustment to the openings to adjust the amount of heat but after a few times its like clock work. The Gas side has nice even heat and will get plenty hot enough. As for the side burner I have never cooked anything on it. I does use it to get my charcoal started in a hand held chemney. The Smoker side box can be used as a small charcoal grill but I only use it as a smoke box. This grill is like anything else if you take care of it , it will last. I foil the bottom of the grill and the ash catcher to make cleaning easy.

The grates rusted out the charcoal holder rusted in half, and can't use it anymore. The gas side the grates rusted so bad you can't use to cook anything because rust flakes stick to your food. The idea of both in on grill is good, but the quality isn't there. Don't buy,

I purchase the Dual function Charcoal and Gass Grill and the Charcoal side don't heat up or stay hot as a regular CHARCOAL GRILL.
Any suggestion as to how I can get the charcoal side to heat up longer and cook the meat like the gas side.

Awesome grill. I ordered it online and had it assembled at the store. They emailed me and told me it was ready for pickup a day before I expected it. It was waiting for me at the front of the store. They helped me load and tie it down. Great experience.
