Efficient, works well in limits

Purchased after reading previous reviews, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the chipper does work. Key, however, is following directions, and underestimating its stated capacity, as my experience indicates "up to 1.6 inches" is highly optimistic, as is stated ability to shred leaves. But all in all quite pleased with this helpmate to recycling a combination of frech and old branches and scrub brush stalks/branches.

I was leary of this chipper when I bought it. I was wrong. It is a great little tool. I have used it several times. It has never stalled out. It will chip limbs up to 1.5 inches with no problem. As a licensed electrician, I can say that users should buy a 15 ft. #12 AWG extension cord with the chipper. The manufacturer recommends this and this is very important to prevent voltage drop and give the chipper the correct voltage to develop good torque. A smaller or longer cord will cause problems. This is an A++ tool.

Stopped working after 30 minutes

No, I do not recommend this product.
Assembly was not too bad. Used it for a half an hour on some trimmed brush and small sticks. It was running fine then the motor started slowing down with in a minute it stopped completely. I opened it up and checked the blades for anything jamed or clugged.. It was clear. Tried to restart several more times. The motor would start but would then slow right down to the point that it would stop completely. I had a different brand of chipper shredder that lasted for 5 years. So this one is a big disappointment.

No, I do not recommend this product.
I liked how it worked, but it did not run over three minutes be for it quite. The reset button apeared not to work. I could not get it to reset and therefore the chipper would not run. Over all, I liked the chipper's chipping ability-but it durability is questionable.

my old Black&Decker chipper died, no replacement parts available. Search shows bunch of comparable products in range $129 - $299. I was hesitant to go for the lowest price but after first week of working with this shredder, it is clear winner!

No, I do not recommend this product.
Would not run after about 10 minutes of painstaking work trying to get it to cut up a few small sticks, jammed ten times, hard to open to clear the blades. Thanks for cheerfully refunding my money on this inferior product.
