i love it for its smell and color

gain original has a nice smell - neither too cleanser-y nor too food-y and it leaves no lingering odor on plastic ware.
i LOVE the color! i used to keep detergent hidden away, but now i keep a small refilled bottle on the counter.when the sun shines through it, it makes me (almost) happy to wash dishes!
the only drawback is that the detergent isn't very concentrated and i can go through a bottle quickly.
i have been finding it harder to find economy sizes in stock so i googled and found that home depot carries it.
