These were purchased to anchor a 14' trampoline. I researched several styles and manufacturers and these appeared to be the best. My assumption proved true. We live in SW Florida where the soil would pass for sandbox material in the North. These anchors were easy to start but really dug in the last 8", requiring an 18' breakover bar to cinch them flush with the ground in thick, St. Augustine grass. We can remove the straps, move the trampoline for mowing, and not worry about hitting the rings on these as they fold flush with the top plate below the grass.
