Customer reviews for 12 Port PEX Manifold with Valves

12 Port PEX Manifold with Valves

The Apollo manifold system will save you time and money by allowing you to make longer, continuous runs of PEX pipe with fewer connections. Each manifold is bolted to a galvanized back plate for easy mounting to any structure. The cover plate is constructed of 1/4 in. ABS plastic, and includes red and blue labels indicating the destination fixture. Each manifold consists of two inlet ports that supply the dual chambers. Typically, one inlet is used for hot water supply, and the other inlet is used for cold water supply. However, both inlets may be used for either hot or cold water. The inlets are not temperature specific.

The ease of installation was fairly easy, one big thing I found out is the 3/4in adapters that came with the product did not screw on properly. The male thread where the main lines attach is made of plastic and has a circle dip from where it was molded, makes it more prone to leaking. I had to purchase sharkbite adapters and lots of teflon tape to make it not leak. I rated quality average because of how it was constructed and all the plastic, and I believe the value is way overpriced for the materials used for constructing it.
The overall product does work well once you figure out how to stop it from leaking at the main points, the branches adapters with on/off work great and fit good with no leaks.

I would have liked to see the supply takeoffs spread out a little more. It is tight for working room on each of the feeds. Gives you quick control of water to all points in a house in one spot due to each supply has its own shut off. you could eliminate the need for shutoffs on the other end. this would make the purchase price of the manifold inexpensive.
Pros: Easy to Install, Good Instructions, No Leaks, cost effective if you use manifold as shutoffs

Unlike the last one of these I purchased, this one came not only with the valves but the fittings to conect it to the main water supply. It was verry ease to install.
