These heat resistant gloves with long cuffs are wonderful. They are thick and protect your hands and wrists from the heat of the wood stove, and it covers your wrists so that if you bump into the edge of the wood stove while loading large logs, you don't burn your arms.

I bought these so I could handle the racks in my Weber Smokey Mountain 22.5" Smoker and they worked really well. They are a bit pricey but they keep the heat away from your hands really good. I could reach in the fuel box and add more wood or charcoal with these glove on and didnt feel any heat at all. Great buy
