The Makita 1 in. Crown Stapler is compact with less weight for all day use. Its top-loading magazine allows users to quickly load 16 GA staples varying in length from 1 in. to 2 in. It contains a quick release cam-lock which opens nose assembly to clear jammed staples, minimizing downtime. The Crown Stapler is designed with a rubberized handle for better fit and added comfort and rubber bumpers protect the tool and surface from damage.

I bought this to install lath on my house exterior, before stucco. Works great. Super sensitive trigger, sometimes I accidentally laid 2 staples down instead of 1. Very light and has tool belt clip. Did not use extensively but has not jammed on me so far. just what I wanted.

Excellent tool. It perfrormed very well, light weight and handy. Be careful choosing staples to make certain they fit the tool - my first purchase of staples did not fit (too narrow of crown). The staples measured slightly under 1".
