I ordered three sets of these lights to replace the solar lights we installed 2 years ago, and wish I had ordered them first. The solar lights are a joke, and the Brinkman LED lights have been a wonderful replacemnt for the solar lights. I would recommend these to anyone wanting good lights, and they have a dusk to dawn controller.

NICE LOOKING, EASY TO INSTALL. HAD SAME PROBLEM AS A LOT OF FOLKS WITH BROKEN LIGHTS BUT BRINKMAN REPLACED THEM WITHOUT ANY HASSLE AT ALL. OVERALL VERY HAPPY WITH THEM. THEY WORK AS THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL. VERY BRIGHT.

Fantastic product. Stainless steel lights that provide lots of lighting which I use around a very large flower bed. Great and simple pug in feature and I added additional lights which is one of the features. Quick disconnect should any light need to be removed.

Over half of the lights in the kit did not work. A couple were very weak and some did not work at all. If you do purchase, make sure you test each with the transformer before you spend the time installing. But I would not waste your money. Spend a little extra and get something of better quality.

Easy to install and large area can be covered with this set of lights. Ordered two sets, one had three broken lights but Brinkman promptly replaced.

I found the installation to be very easy. Longer stakes into the ground would have improved the product for us because we live in a sandy area. On some lights, the metal tops separated from the black plastic to which they're attached. However, applying a few dabs of clear silicone caulk and they're back on permanently. They give off a good amount of light at night (and all night long, unlike the solars), and look very attractive during the day. The automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor works like a charm. At the current discounted price, I consider this set to be a great deal!

The price is quite appealing & that is why I chanced the purchase. I did not expect great quality, I read the reviews, & I thought it was worthy. As many other reviewers said, the metal is quite thin so you must take care when "planting" the stakes, lest you dent the caps. The electrical connections seem strong & weatherproof. If you want to hook up to an existing underground low voltage wire, you can do so, but you will be limited by the length of wire coming off the transformer. I had to tap into the existing wire close to the house with the transformer, & then tap into the wire about 50 feet away & wire nut & seal the connections. Since it's a DC power, you may have to reverse the wire connections if the lights don't work initially.
The lights are bright & well worth the money - but beware that the metal is very thin & easily dented. Overall, I would recommend this to the handyman or to anyone not handy but able to use the wiring that comes with the kit.

Product was very easy to assemble and install. Looks and works great. Did have one lamp break due to water hose being dragged over the light. Plastic part broke off in neck. After a bit of epoxy, works like new, but parts (plastic) are not a durable as they look (silver metallic).

This product puts out a bright light for the wattage but the medal on the top is very thin and bends too easily. I am concerned about how long it will last and if water will get inside. But so far, the product is worth the money.

Installed these last weekend in about an hour and a half. Thanks to those that recommended not pushing down on top of the lights to avoid breakage. Very easy to install. Can buy a little trencher from Ace to help cut a small trench (slot) in the soil to install the interconnecting cords. Bought 4 additional lites to expand set and the whole thing works great. Lot's more light than solar.

This is a case of “you get what you pay for” This product is so cheaply constructed it literally breaks when you handle it. Unless you plan to do what I did, I would recommend you move on and forget this light set. I purchased this set to use the transformer, leads and LED’s to upgrade an existing quality solar light set to low voltage. Great value if you plan to do this.

These are good lights and the sale price was RIGHT! I ordered 2 sets. Although one was broken in shipment and two didn't work, Home Depot sent me 3 replacement lamps immediately. I am very pleased and these look great on my dark pathway. They were easy to assemble as well.

These lights are awesome. We used them to replace solar lights that never got enough sun. The light output is really good, they do hurt your eyes if you look directly into them... Very easy to install.
The only complaint I really have is that they don't come in any other finish. I tried them as is but they are just to shiny for our decor. I will be painting them a dark bronze to match the other fixtures.
There were 2 lights cracked as many others experienced but I just made a call to the help line and they sent out replacements.

These were very easy to put together and work well but one arrived with the top broken off. It wasn't worth it to send them all back for one. What made me think twice about this was the fact the the piece was broken, which attached the canopy to the stem was completely missing. I would have been able to fix it had it been with the contents... This tells me that is was repacked knowingly broken...? Or at least that's my conclusion... Anyway this is why the 3 star rating applies. The led's are bright white (way more than the solar ones) and work well for my paths.

I installed this 10 piece set of s/s lights in the front of our house we just bought. I added 2 extra lights for a total of 12.The lights are very bright and I am very happy with the purchase. The light could be another 6 to 8" higher because they are a little too close to the ground when you insert them.However this is an excellent buy! I plan to tape over the dusk to dawn eye and put the lights on a timer for 4 or 5 hours. Excellent Value!!!

I cut off the transformer that came with the unit and wired this set into an existing transformer and solar timer set-up I had in place for other outside lights. Worked great! Lights are metal (thin metal, but NOT plastic). Light to light wire connections are super easy and high quality.
Just be warned that the set is designed to be strung out in a continuous line of ten lights, connected end to end.

Lights were a snap to install. Surprising how much light one little bulb puts out. Photo cell also works to perfection, turning lights on and off at dusk and dawn...
