Upon reading other reviews here, I bought these and am so happy with them that I bought another set! It's also great that you can purchase as many extra lights as you need, and they are so easy to set up. I'm so pleased that the technology has finally improved over the old low-voltage sets which were tricky to set up and a nuisance to replace light bulbs. The price can't be beat, either! Buy them!

These lights are really bright, with a narrow focus. Their only problem is that they mostly point upwards. I bought them to light a path and they're really more appropriate for lighting a tree or house detail. However, I cut up an old curtain rod into sections, bent each at an angle, and mounted the spike of each lamp into the rods, then pushed the rods into the dirt and voila! They point downwards at the now very-well-lit path.

Good quality. Easy to assemble and install. Out of 12 lights (bought 2 sets) all worked well except one (light was weaker than the rest).

TWO OF MY LIGHTS WORKED FINE FOR A MONTH, THEN FAILED TO LIGHT AND THE LOCAL STORE DOES NOT CARRY REPLACEMENTS. I LIKE THE EASE OF CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION, BUT AM DISAPPOINTED THAT I CANNOT GET REPLACEMENTS FOR THE NON WORKING LIGHTS.

I used these around some queen anne palms trees and daisy plants on the ground and they shed a lot of light, and I was surprised.

This product is easy to set up. Connections are simple. Where the product falls short of great is that in its ease of set up it is less flexible in where you can place the heads.
Also, the color of light is very "blue/greenish" not the warm light I'm used to in my landscape lighting. Unfortunately, the system may wind up in a garage sale.

The Good: Lights have high enough output for the price. Connectors have O ring seals and are of decent quality. Daisy chained linearly, you have 50 ft of lighted area. Easy to install.
The Bad: No available extensions cables to separate groups of lights. Need to buy another power supply with sensor.
Other: The light color is a little on the bluish side. Might improve if they incorporated one yellow LED of the 3/lamp to warm up the color.

Nice looking. Great light from the LED at a low energy usage. Very easy to install. Was very pleased with the first set that I bought in May 2011 so I ordered this new set. SInce then the transformer from the original set died. Contacted Brinkmann and they are sending a replacement but expected it to last longer than 10 months. For the price paid, I guess that is not terrible but still disappointing.

Keep in mind that these are spots, not floods, so the light is very focused. However, it is a good clean white light suitable for highlighting landscape features. Photo cell is very sensitive on these so the lights do come on well before dark and will remain on until full daylight.

Make sure you plug them the right way cauz they won't light up if you plug them the wrong way and make sure you check if they work at night since the sensor will shut them down during the day and you'll think they don't work ... Besides that very happy with the amount of light and the price is right. Highly recommended.

Worked as advertised -- I especially liked the light sensor which turns the lights on and off depending on daylight. Minor quibble, I wish the swivel attachment that controls the up-down motion of the light head was a little stiffer or adjustable. Sometimes, when aiming the light, it would drift up or down depending if it was being touched by something else such as a branch of the shrub. Other than that, I'm quite happy with how this performed.

I am very pleased with this light set. It was very easy to install and the price is great. For LED lighting it really does project a great deal of light for accent lighting. I would definitely take this over any solar lights.

Bought one set to try it out for my backyard and these lights are just beautiful. They made the backyard look very nice and reached out to the top of my palm trees. Strong light and low energy bill. I ended up buying two extra sets and lit up the entire yard. They even come with the auto dusk to dawn so they turn on as soon as dark sets and off when the morning comes. Lovem.
