Very excited to receive this fan! We used rustic wood side facing down and looks fabulous. Upscale look and remote is great has the 3speeds for fan and dimmer for light, also has reverse direction for fan which is nice for different times of year. Only thing wrong is cover to remote was broken but contacted customer service and received replacement within a week. Did purchase longer down rod and hired installer 16' ceiling.
Pros: High Quality of Material, Lots of Features, Looks Great, Stylish, Good Size & Weight, Nice Design

Put it together.
It had some small mechanical dint on the moving body. Not like something visible or noticeable. Was afraid - that the fan will wobble.
Hang it up on slopped by 15-20 degrees cathedral ceiling, placed even a small ceiling medallion above it, was ready for a long balance.
But the fan did not wobble even a bit - just moved a lot of air w/o any sound or shake.
Pros: Easy to Assemble, Looks Great, Stylish, Nice Design

The fan has a nice finished look when installed. The light is dim but the entire fan has that distressed look so the dim/golden light fits in with the theme. Very nice fan - good looking, moves a lot of air and is quiet.
Pros: Well Made, Unique, High Quality of Material, Looks Great, Stylish, Nice Design

Fan did not work, bad capacitor. Nuts required for light kit installation were missing.

No, I do not recommend this product.
This fan was ordered via Home Depots online store. I spent roughly an hour hanging and installing the fan, only to find out that the motor was bad. To debug the problem, I connected the lights to the motor line. By doing this, I was able to dim/brighten the lights via the various speed switches on the remote, which showed that receiver and transmitter were operable. I'm thinking the fan capacitor is bad, because the fan would maintain a very low speed when I helped start it by hand. REALLY irritating to spend that much time on brand new product. This normally 1 hour job ended up being a 3 hour nightmare with no resolution. Let's see what HD does to compensate me for all my time. Giving me my money back won't cut it, this is our master BR fan that we depend on daily, so hopefully, it will be resolved quickly.
Pros: Looks Great
Cons: dosent work!
