I bought this for it's looks and to use in my basement and it does the job perfectly. The little handy remote is a plus! It's cute and the kids love it and it does it job wonderfully. It doesn't get hot to the touch, so I feel that it's safe for pets and children alike and it definitely warms up the room!

This heater works great! I have a home with electric baseboard heaters,costs a small fortune to heat my home.I bought three of these heaters to use in different parts of my 11 room home.I have been running these for over a month now and for December have cut my heating costs in half! You do have to run them on turbo setting for best heat output.I noticed some reviews mentioned not warm enough on low setting, remember the low setting is ONLY 750wtts.

Small stove but attractive. I have this stove in the living room of a house with little or no insulation between the exterior brick and interior plaster walls. It can warm that room and two other rooms well enough to not need layered clothing on colder days. The winter has been too mild to know how it will do in single digit weather but so far I am pleased. Minor increase in utility bill. I really enjoy the ambience that the 'flames' lend to the room as well.

I bought this unit to use in a small (8 x 10) home office space. The unit is small, but the heat output is still adequate. It will begin to heat up the room within 10 minutes - and that is usually on the low setting (750 watt). Remote control is simply a turn on/off device - no adjustments can be made with it.
Pros - decent quality, easy assembly (4 legs and about 5 minutes of time), flame effect is very good even exceeding those of more expensive units, heat output is sufficient to take the chill out of small to mid sized rooms.
Cons - the motor nevers shuts off even when thermostat has reached the desired temperature. Continues to blow air, so the unit never really "shuts off". This definitely should be changed in their next version should they decide to do one.

I bought this to use in the basement for my daughter. It does get cold at night and I figured this would be perfect to keep the area warm. We've had it now for about 2 weeks and it's ok but I throw caution to the wind if you need to heat an area that's larger. My basement is a little over 400 and it'll keep the chill out but will not get the area toasty. We have to use turbo if we want it to stay a nice warm degree. Again, for the price good buy but if you need to heat an area that's more the 400 sq ft I would suggest getting something a little more powerful.

Just bought this yesterday (we have a bigger one in the den) unboxed, put legs on and set it up in our bedroom, put it on late this afternoon.....my bathroom usually is quite chilly by this time....is very comfortable!
So far I really like it.....as a friend said from the picture I sent in an email......"it's a cute little bugger!" V B G The price was awesome! I do love these "faux wooden heaters!"

This thing is just a GREAT BUY,,, I have research and used alot of different heaters. This thing is awesome. I purchased it and plugged it in. Turbo function cranks out HEAT... It is heating a 400sq ft room with 12 ft cieling easily. I wanna go buy more of them... Much cheaper than using my propane burner :)

All I can say is I love this heater and everything about it!!!
High end features, warmth, adjustable flame and the flame does really look real. I returned a more expensive model that I purchased at another store because this one was so much more realistic with it's flame feature not to mention it was around $50 cheaper...I will be purchasing another one shortly...You can easily move this heater around the house it seems to literally fit anywhere without taking up a big footprint. The blower is strong and it has a great little remote control. Recommend this unit highly everyone. I don't think you will be dissapointed...It's great ambience especially around the holidays..."Chestnuts roasting on a open fire" (only kidding folks) Enjoy your holidays everyone!!! Merry Christmas to all!!! Enjoy your heater!!!

Purchased this a few weeks ago and have enjoyed it's use in various rooms of the house. This unit has high end features - remote control, "flame" brightness adjustability, temperature control as well as a turbo feature. Purchasing 2 more as Christmas gifts.

Had this stove for 3 days before it started shutting itself off every half hour or so. I mean everything shuts off unexpectedly including the flame. Would unplug it and let it reset as instructed in the manual and it continued to shut off.
Returned it to store and exchanged it - this new one didn't even last 24 hours before doing the same thing. Bummer!!!

I just bought this woodstove looking electric fireplace for $55 and put it in my bedroom. It heats a room up to 400 sq ft. It has the flame, the logs light up, and it even has a remote control. It's small, 23" H X 17.5" wide, and weighs only 17 lbs, so it's easy to move from room to room. It looks much better than the photo too. I have it on right now, works really good. I reccomend it, and for only $55, you can't go wrong!

I have 2 of these and live in New England and here it is the middle of November and I have not turned on my furnace yet! I have owned one of them for 3 years and my electric bill is hardley affected by the use of these. I decided to try to heat my home with these as they should equal out to less than 1/2 of what propane would cost. I still have my furnace for backup if needed, but love these stoves. Have 1200 sq ft to heat and have ordered a 3rd so I have one at each end of the house and one in the middle for colder temps.

I just got 2 of these. Home Depot was the cheapest place to buy this electric stove heater..pther places want about $100 when not on sale and on sale ( today which is black friday) they want $79.99. I brought them home and you have to put the legs on and when I turned it on the heat started to come out and it was nice and warm. I didnt keep it on for too long, I will be using them tonight and will have a better idea of how good they are at heating. I am hoping to be able to save on heating this winter with the use of these at night. The flame is fake which I like cause I have kids and a cat. The inside where the flame is doesnt get hot. The heat comes out of the bottom. There is a blower that blows the hot air out..it is not too loud but there is some noise which is expected since there is a blower. I like the little electric heater and it looks very nice. It is also light and you can move it very easy which will be nice since I have a basement with a big projector screen we like to watch football and hockey on and now it will be warm in there...=)
