Purchased this tool for one job but now that I have used it - I will be using it for others as the need requires. I needed to remove old hard caulk from around a high-end walkout slider door without any damage to the door trim, weather seal & siding. I made a couple of practice cuts to be precise with the actual job. - Worked excellent using the cutting wheel accessory (that I had to purchase separately) All in all - the door change-out went smooth. The tool did plug up with caulk but I guess I expected it - as it cuts through like butter - melting the old caulk. Since it was a cold day - the caulk built up within the gaurd and was a little tough to clean up once the job was complete. The old door cleaned up well and I will be able to resell it with ease. Precise cutting was made easy because of how the body of the RotoZip moved out of the way as I pulled the tool towards me - making it very easy to see the cut line.
Yes, I recommend this product.
