This well made light should last a lifetime. Installed easily, looks attractive, and brightened the room with its two bulb feature usually found in higher priced units.

Bought two of these to replace two outdated and poor functioning kitchen lights. An amazing improvement. Only took about an hour to install these two and a 3rd light we got for over the sink (different fixture attached to this review).
These lights only use 60 watt bulbs but give off A LOT more light than my previous fixtures. My wife and I can actually see in our kitchen now! We've shown friends who were incredibly impressed by the way they look and were floored when we told them the price they're listed for here at Home Depot.
Don't hesitate to buy this fixture...if you can find them.

At any given moment, I'll turn the light switch on and one of the two light bulbs will be out. We have 2 of these lights in our closet. Both of them are doing this. I've messed with these a few times, changed the light bulbs...its just a junk light.
Pros: Good Size & Weight, Nice Design

Good quality and especially at the price. To me, it's a surprising and unbeatable price for such a well made and attractive product. Install was typical and no issues. Every ceiling light I have ever installed is always a bit of a hassle guiding the 2 threaded bolts through the thin insulation on the back of the light and the housing in order to install the threaded caps to hold it to the ceiling. This one is no exception, but also quite normal. Adequate light in my lower hallway. Oil rubbed bronze looks fine and especially once installed on the ceiling. I would happily buy again.

First time I replace a light fixtures ... Taking out a damaged and very ugly dated one. The instructions were great, it took minutes to do. I was very pleased with myself and continued to replace several others with my new found confidence.

I bought 7 of these and had almost every fixture replaced in my entire house. I didn't install them personally, left that business up to a handyman and an electrician but they look great and the price for a flush mount fixture is simply unbeatable. Hampton Bay is so far very reliable. This fixture is supporting both cfl and incandescent bulbs. Working on regular light switches and dimmers. If you're in the market for some fixture updating, these are great, cheap fixtures that look good! The globes are swirled and slightly opaque, but not too much. More than enough light shines through to illuminate the room.
Comes highly recommended!

Lights look great and appear similar to ones two and three times their price (I seriously shopped around). Only problem was with the self-installation -- the instructions diagram shows you to use the outermost holes of the mounting brackets, but after struggling mightily with installing the first four lights, it dawned on me to try to use the innermost holes, and everything fit together just fine! Learn from my experience, and you'll be rating these lights 5 stars.

Bought this product to replace two old lights in bathroom. Easy to install, attach base, twist to lock and tighten screws, put in bulbs and put on globe. took down old lights and installed 2 new light in just over 30 min. Better lighting and looks good. Highly recommend.

Generally good appearance though the green light sockets can be seen through the glass shade. Amazing value, but installation took longer than it should have due to poorly written instructions. On page 7, the mounting screws (part 13) are shown installed in the farthest holes on the mounting strap (part 14), but they actually have to be installed in the closest holes! Otherwise they won't fit through the canopy (I had many failed attempts before I picked up a ruler and discovered the problem, as I couldn't see the screws through the canopy and insulation).
Pros: Functional, Very Bright, Good Size & Weight
Cons: Difficult to Assemble
