For the price this vent is you cannot beat it. I replaced a Maytag hood(that surprisingly had the same body,look/functionality, and filter size) due to a kitchen overhaul. So far so good! It was easy to install and is sturdy. Be sure to turn off the power prior to the removal/installation of your hood.

The features of this product are basic and what we were looking for. The fan works well, but the light switch may be faulty as it takes a few clicks to get it fully on. The customer service online and in the store were great and it was available for pick up very soon after ordering.

I don't really use my range hood to much other than for lighting. I use the fan more for times when there's a chance for something burning because I do enjoy the smell of cooking in my house. However, when I have used the fan mode it was very quiet and worked well. I'm happy with this item.

This is just like the old basic Boran non-vented range hood found in many homes. Nothing fancy, but nice looking and works well. All the holes for hanging it and running the wires through are in the same place as the old Broan, so replacing an old one is a snap.
