This fireplace was well worth the money I spent on it. The only challenging thing was putting it together. There was a little more to it than I originally thought there would be. It says it should only take you 60 minutes, it took me quite a bit longer. It looks great with my new 47" TV.

Delivered on day expected. did not know it had to be assembled, completed in 1-3/4 hrs with no help. Could have temperature control on remote. Good looking piece of furniture in my livingroom. Expect to get two more for man cave and smoking rooms

This was a Christmas gift for my parents for the TV room in the basement and the Item arrived perfect. Not damaged in any way like the Target sent me twice damaged. a waste of time with Target and their people and damaged products. It took a little know how for the assembling, which i did. But when it was completely assembled, it was worth it. It looks great, good quality material, and the fireplace works really nice, with and without heat. There is plenty of room for tv accessories below the TV. Very nicely designed. and not a scratch on it when out out of the box. It was new and unopened.
Would buy another when needed and would recommend to others. A+++

Ordered online. Was very pleased with finished product. Love the multi setting for the flame. Don't know how well the heating works because it hasn't been cold enough to try it out. I was able to put it together by myself although the instructions call for two people. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the peice that holds the firebox in place could be a little closer to it because the firebox will slide backwards lf it you have to move it by yourself.

Looks: exellent...design, color, and above all the materials are first class. Doors fit shelves fit and goes together easily. I could not be more satisfied with cost, look and technical use of this fireplace. I shopped for some time and was lucky enuff to spot this one. Am very satisfied with my purchase of this unit...one person can do the assembly but much quicker if done by two people...cabinet is good quality with a fair amount of space for your DVDs and CDs along with area for the DVR and VCR/DVD player...fireplace is very life like and is quite nice to look at...heat feature nicely heats up my large living room...am considering buying another for my basement rec room...if you are thinking about purchasing, don't think too long as these are very good quality and might not be around long...Dee in OH

I absolutely love this fireplace/entertainment center. My heart sank when I saw all the pieces, but I'm a 63 year old woman and I followed their instructions and had it put together by myself in an hour and a half. Everything was clearly marked and the instructions were really easy to understand. It's very sturdy, and a lovely piece of furniture. The fireplace works great. Love all it's features. And the shelves really hold a lot of DVDs. This was one of the best things I have ever bought. My husband wasn't too sure when I told him about it, but he fell in love with it when he saw it. He agrees it was a great buy.

This is really a beautiful piece. It's fairly simple to put together, requires only a screwdriver and 2 reasonably intelligent people to assemble. It says 1 hr, it took us about 4 hrs. due to the fact that we had to partially disassemble and turn it around. (LOL) The instructions are good, and the pieces are clearly marked as to their position. The back panel however, did not have the holes provided to attach to the other pieces. The back panels fit very tightly and you have to nudge them in to fit properly. Again, someone who knows what they're doing can do this easily. We were thinking that the fireplace insert was gonna be the straw that broke the camel's back, but it required picking up out of the box and sliding in from the back and and plugging in. I handled this part and I was good at it. But, we got it all done with only a slight bruise on my head from the flashlight falling off the table, and it's beautiful and works great. My grandson thinks I'm majic cause I can turn the fire on and off! Let him think whatever he wants! I would recommend this piece to anyone. It can also be moved from room to room. Plus, here it comes, I got this on sale in February for half price. Pat on the back for me! What? My level of expertise, trick question, not gonna answer that one. I consider myself a highly trained professional, but in another field.

This fireplace was very easy for one person to put together.The directions were easy to follow, as were the pictures. The fireplace itself is attractive and really adds to the room. The blower is a little loud, but with the television on it is not really noticable. The fire looks nice and we love that you can adjust the flame and temperature. All of the pieces we needed to fit, were able to be placed on the shelf. (DVR, Play station, Blue Ray)This was a wonderful purchase!

Nice look, but not good for the basement

We had been looking around for something to help take the chill out of our recently finished basement. The area where the media center is is completely insulated, including the ceiling. Our furnace does not run too often due our use of a pellet stove, so the basement is a bit colder than other basements.
We opened up the box and quickly put the media center together; it went quick with two people. The look of the product is great and the quality is very good.
We plugged it into the wall and turned it on, and was quite disappointed with the trickling out of heat. There is heat and it is hot, however, it does not blow it out into the room as I had hoped when I purchased the item. After it ran for about 6 hours, the ambient temperature of the room had only risen 3 degrees: from 63 degrees from 66 degrees. To help heat the room, I purchased a standalone Dr. Heater and with the two items working together, I was able to get the ambient temperature up to 69 degrees plus (depending on how long the Dr. Heater runs).
All in all, it is a very good product, but if you really expect this to heat well, you should just by a heater with a stronger blower.

In store ordering was made simple with the help of the woman at the Customer Help Counter. Delivery was made several days later. No damage to the fireplace, all parts were there, the instruction booklet made it easy to construct the fireplace. The fireplace compliments the furniture very nicely and supports the 55" LEd TV that sits on top of it. My wife and I are very happy with our purchase. Thanks

We are very happy with this purchase. We looked around for months and were able to purchase the floor model that had never been turned on and had nothing wrong with it. We got it for 400 dollars and it enhanced the room tremendously. Our 46 in tv looks so good on it and the components fit perfectly. The real draw was the two side shelfs where we store the wii components on one side and use the other side as a liquer cabinet. Very happy

Overall very satisfied with this product. I bought this for my mother for a Xmas gift and put it together for her as well. Instructions were very easy to follow and all parts were there. The doors were amazingly easy to put on and get straight/even, which was nice. The only minus was the wooden bar to secure (close off) the fireplace insert in back was a bit too big, otherwise I'd give this a 5 star rating.
My mom LOVES the way it looks. Everyone who visits comments on how nice the flames are and even think the room is warmer just from having the fire visual on but no heat. The heat works great too and is perfect for her living room space which runs a bit cold. I'm very glad I spent a little more for such a nice looking fire visual. Just wish it has been tooled a little better - but it wasn't a necessary part and we still wedged it in back, just didn't screw it in.

Love it! Size, styling and 'look' are exactly what we needed for the space. Lots of parts and pieces, but crystal clear instructions; so, it was easy to put together - anyone could do it! Nice, but simple - not ornate, styling. Great 'fit and finish'. Love the media shelf and the side storage cabinets. Truly looks like an expensive piece of furniture. Flame is fairly realistic. Like the timer feature.

This fireplace/media console was extremely well packed, and although it took me more time to unpack it than to put it together, I appreciate the care of the packaging. I found it easy to assemble and even those steps that say two people should perform were able to be done by just one person. The completed unit is strong and sturdy and I have no concerns for putting a TV on top of it. The unit came with a touch up pen, which came in helpful on some places where I should have been more careful with the screwdriver. There is a slight hum to the unit when the fire is on (even with the blower off), which is why I rated it four stars, but when the TV is on, the hum isn't too noticeable. Friends have been impressed with the look and function of the fireplace and so am I.
