We used several of these discs to strip paint off of brick and it worked great. Took the paint right off without damaging the brick. Highly recommended.

After 3 coats of Jasco paint stripper, I thought I'd use this quick strip disc to finish off the old parking lines, however it just wasn't abrasive enough. It's built well, and probably great for in-home paint use, but for thick parking lines, it just won't cut it. The disc is NOT metal fibers, but a hard plastic weave. If you're doing parking lines, get a metal one.
Cons: Limited Features

I bought this to remove heavy scaling on some custom machined steel parts. The scale was black and thick, and a wire wheel barely touched it. This disk took it right off. I was amazed in how quickly it removed the scale without scratching the underlying metal, and without disintegrating the disk itself.

I bought this product for use on a deck refinishing project, using a pneumatic drill to reach areas I couldn't reach with my random orbital sander. It was easily up to the task, but this is a DIY project. I have also used this product to remove rust from the frame of my truck. Again, it was easily up to the task.
Pros: High Quality of Material, Easy to Use

These work good even in a cordless drill. I have used them in corded (AC) drills as well for more power but it's not necessary to have very high RPMs for these to do a good job. They work well for their intended use and I like to use them where it is possible instead of wire brush wheels. (Sometimes it's not good grinding away metal with metal.) They wear down fairly quick, but nothing ridiculous. You will get some good stripping or rust removal done with this. I just think that with manufacturing processes, they would be able to get these to retail for less than $10. I'm thinking they should come in at around $6-7.
