I was using a forced air kerosene heater for about a year and it started having problems. 2nd one to do this. Wont stay running blah blah... Not to mention kerosene at $4 gallon. So my brother had one of these and he brought it out for the weekend. It heated my 800SF garage all weekend on a 20lb tank. It was in the 20's outside and a in the 70's inside. The noise compared too the forced air kerosene is minimal. We also live in a house with all electric heat. Now if the power goes out in the winter, I could take this inside and use as emergency heat without worrying about the fumes with our dogs. If you are looking to heat a garage or shed that you want to spend some hours in over the winter, this is the heater you want. Dont know how I ever did without one!
Pros: Energy Efficient, Performs Well, Easy to Install, Durable, Powerful, Good Size & Fit, High Quality, Portable
Cons: available extension hose
Yes, I recommend this product.

Used this heater on an outdoor patio/deck during a party. Worked very well to keep people warm outside. Seems like it would be a really good tailgating heater as well. Easy to assemble and operate. Quiet operation and no electricity necessary. I like that you can adjust the heat settings. Even on low this thing puts off the heat.
Pros: Energy Efficient, Performs Well, Easy to Install, Good Size & Fit
Cons: no blower, construction seems delicate
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this for the back porch however the heat does not radiate out in a 360 degree radius nor does it claim to. I have a low back roof on my porch so I wanted to give it a try. I moved it to work where it works great in areas that have enclosed open areas such as my steel building and job sites (unfinished homes) that are in framing stage with windows installed. We are an HVAC company so when the boys go out to do a duct installation and it's cold they sure do move quicker. I'll find something else for the back porch but this baby cranks it out !!!

Recently went camping at a campground that didn't allow campfires and my friend brought this. We live in Washington state and it got down to about 38 degrees when we brought it out. Not only did it keep us warm but lasted a lot longer than I thought. He used a 1gal propane tank and it lasted almost 4 hours on low! This is now on my birthday list.

I have an uninsulated, gap-filled 1 1/2 storey barn in Northern Maine, with a roughly 825 square foot floor, which was a bit ambitious for this heater. The heat goes straight up,
so be sure to use a fan: the added air does burn through propane quickly. In 20 degrees, it did nothing; in 35 degrees, it made a difference. I'm certain that when I get the gaps in the walls covered, this heater will be great. As one reviewer wrote, it takes a good minute, holding down the knob on the first try, to ignite it. After that, easily lit.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Use, Sturdy, Easy to Install, Good Size & Weight, Nice Design
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this to heat my garage. its about 1000sq. feet, uninsulated, and the people door and windows leak badly. I decided on this one because it says it will heat 2000sq. feet. After about an hour on max setting we were in t-shirts. I don't know what temperature it was inside, but the outside temperature was barely 20 degrees F outside. For the people saying its loud, if you've ever had or heard one of the kerosene heaters, this is much quieter than that. we are able to talk with ease right next to it. The only con I have is the flame. On max the flame will exceed the enclosure a little bit. it makes me nervous where I will not leave it unattended. All in all if you're looking for something to heat a three car garage and you don't want a kerosene heater because of the costs to buy it and the cost of kerosene, this will do the job and then some. I heated the garage for about 8 hours and there is still plenty of propane, all be it, I did turn it to its lowest setting after about an hour
Yes, I recommend this product.

The heater works great, a huge upgrade from my torpedo heater, heats the area very quick, I read other reviews about how loud it is, and its not that loud at all even on high. I really am happy with this heater and glad I bought it for working out in the garage, here in Michigan winters.
Pros: Durable, Easy to Clean, Easy to Use, High Quality, Nice Design

The unit came with very simple assembly. The reason I had bought it for my garage and maybe as emergency heat for the house. They could probably be more forward with the fact that it needs adequate ventilation when used indoors.

easy to assemble and easy to use. heats a large uninsulated garage with out a problem. some of the other reviews said it was loud, i found it to be very reasonable. the only down side is that it can burn through propane in a hurry. on a 20# tank i can run it for 10 to 15 hours.

I use this propane heater in my workshop/garage (2 car) and it does the job well. A couple of observations:
-1- when lighting you need to hold in the control for a count of 50 or more
-2- the flame is near max when the lighting process is complete, from there you can turn it lower though
-3- I prefer this type of heater because is is fairly quiet
I've had this about 2 months now. So far so good.

I bought this product to warm me up on my back patio on chilly evenings. My patio is 10x30, enclosed on three sides with a screened in front section. i like to sit outside, watch TV and enjoy a cigar. This heater serves its purpose. If it's 35 F or up, it will keep you warm as long as you are sitting next to it. It does not do a great job of heating the entire enclosure (obviously because of the open side). It's Easy to assemble. Not too loud.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've used the torpedo heaters in the past and this tower unit delivers similar heat. I've been looking for a unit that is more reliable (less moving parts) over the long term and I think this is it!
The nice part about this unit is that it’s light weight and can be manually lit if the auto igniter gets fouled. Safety is critical when one attempts to lit the unit manually. I’ve own my unit for a month and it has performed as advertised.
I got the best price via their website.
