This is an outstanding product. You can get the temperature very high as well as very low. The sky is the limit with how and what to cook. I recommend trying many different natural lump charcoals. There are different flavors, burn times, maximum temperatures, etc. Opens up a whole new fun way to BBQ!

After researching Komado grills I purchased the Vision Pro. When I tried to remove the sticker from the side table I damaged it. I sent an email on Sunday to Vision customer service and was amazed to receive two replies within minutes, they shipped me a replacement immediately . The grill is well built and a quality product in every way. I thoroughly enjoy cooking on it and am impressed how easy to hold low temps for long periods of time. I gave away my smoker and propane grill. I love this product.

The grill has exceeded my expectations and it is a great value based on other brands who charge for every extra option available. I am still in the learning curve on how to use the grill and regulate the temperature effectively, but I am making progress.

Researched several kamado style grills. This one works great. Assembly was easy and the product works as I expected. As other reviewers have stated product support from manufacturer was excellent. Support from Home Depot to manufacturer to even delivery company was awesome. I had to make some special arrangements and changes for delivery and I spoke with real people who went above and beyond to help. The type of service you don't normally see.

The HD associate actually tried to talk me out of buying this Kamado stating that several of his friends had purchased and had difficulty maintaining heat in the 200-250 deg (smoking) temp range. My first run, I loaded it up with lump hardwood and just practiced changing the temps to get a feel for how it works. I baked several pizzas at 600+ deg and then took it down to about 275 and smoked a 7 pound pork shoulder for about 10 hours. By morning the temp was sitting at about 200 deg and the Pork was PERFECT. I have never used more expensive Kamado grills, but I picked mine up for $499 and at that price, this is a steal!

Having done extensive research on kamado type cookers, I decided on purchasing the Vision Pro. I was disappointed that I was unable to see one in person. Having said that...............Just received the Vision Pro via freight shipping. Had to comment on the Quality of the product. I have been in the large pleasure yacht business for 40 years, so I can tell quality when I see it. I was very impressed with the Vision Pro upon inspection. The packing was well thought out and the unit arrived in great shape
( something that I was very concerned about). From the massive top venting damper with the individual molded air trap pockets to the suprise molded in lower venting body, even to the pull out tray, you can tell that this design was well thought out. No cheap stamped parts here. Everything is overbuilt and fitted very well. I have looked at the "Egg type products" in their showroom and can tell you that the Vision Pro is far superior to that system. By-the -way, I have never written a review before as there is not that much out there that gets me very excited. This does. I will continue this review after I smoke a few tons of meat. ggg

So far so good.
It arrived in perfect condition. Driver helped my wife put it in the garage w/O fees.

This is a great grill! I can hold a low temp of 225 for hours easily and bring it up to 700f in less than a minute. When I bought my vision Kamado from home depot it had a small problem that was home depot fault and vision grills customer service was incredibly good! They took care of the problem 100% and were really caring. You don't get that kinda service any more. Great price, great grill, and a great company!

I bought this grill at my local Home Depot after spending a fair amount of time researching Kamado style grills from several manufacturers. The conclution was a price point decision plus features. Other's lacked the compliment of standard features the Vision Pro comes with. Being a long time gas griller, moving to this type of grill took some getting used to. I am thrilled with how this style of cooks nearly everthing from steak, pizza, fish, ribs, boston butt, you name it. I should have purchased one of these many years ago. I have spent too many dollars on a gas grills, what a waste. I highly recommend the Vision Pro!

I called the manufacturer from the aisle at Home Depot to convince me why this was better than other similar grills. The Tech, Bruce, was very passionate about the product and after 20 minutes of telling me different ways to cook a Thanksgiving Day Turkey in it. I bought it, made the turkey and everyone was thrilled! One month later, I noticed the thermometer was holding water and the shelves were cracking. I reached Bruce again and he quickly offered to replace all the items at no cost, no questions asked. He also mentioned the new limited life time warranty they have.
I wish all product manufacturers were this customer friendly. I don't expect any product to be perfect but do expect a customer to live up to their product, which Vision Grills seems to do exceedingly well.

i can't speak highly enough of the customer service from Vision. It rivals and is probably better than the service I receive at the Ritz Carlton. Now for the grill. It is bigger, heavier and better made than the others. It is cheaper and includes more accessories than the others, I think the color is much better than green, but would love to see it in other colors. I see that some have said it does not seal well enough to snuff the coals, wait till it builds up some gunk in the top vent and it will work fine. The top vent is manufactured slightly loose so as not to be so tight it is hard to move. Once the junk builds up the top is perfect. I have the cooking stone too, and it is higher quality than anything else out there.

I have a couple of friends with other brands of kamado grills, and was impressed with their versatility. I picked up the Vision kamado pro and started my first forey into smoking, and it's been fairly easy and very tasty. I like to grill my steaks at 700+ degrees, and this grill had no problem acheiving that temperature...great for steaks. After my first try smoking, i got the hang of adjusting the temp, and have cooked boston butt, chickens, ribs, and pork shoulders with great success. This grill is easy to light with an electric starter, and though i thought the lump charcol was expensive at first, i can smoke 8 hours without adding charcoal, and when cooking steaks i can get two separate nights of grilling out of the coals....it's well worth it, and as long as we dont tip it over, it looks to last forever. I very good investment, i believe.

If you want a kamado style grill this is a great choice. There are more expensive brands (I've used a couple of others and they were great too) but this an incredible value and the food will tast just as good as grill of twice the price. I've had a couple of issues with accessories and the company went above and beyond to replace them quickly and sent me some extra goodies to make up for the problem. Great product and great customer service.

I have been researching this type of grill for some time. Read over all the reviews with Home Depot plus looked all over the internet. Never realized how many of these types of grills were out there. In any event, decided to order it on Thursday along with the cooking stone, the grill arrived on Monday. Began to set it up and one of the cross "X" sections was not tapped / threaded so I did have to run to the hardware store to get the needed tool. $5 for the tap, took about 30 minutes to thread the holes and had it put together shortly afterwards. Very good quality, the packing was excellent, no damages noted. Heavy and well made. There was no adhesive on the inside so not sure what the other review was talking about. Love the ash drawer, opens and closes well, and the shelves are great too. This grill is well worth the money and it is great to be back to charcoal. I have used gas for the past 10 years and 3 grills later decided to switch back. I have had 3 gas grills, if the outer cabinet lasts the inside parts rust or some other part rusts and falls apart. I have always kept my grill covered and well cared for as I grill out year round in Columbus Ohio. The grill is second to none.
