Before buying this washer I had a top loading one and had problems with lint and some clothes came out dirty. I have had the LG for a month now. It is amazing how smaller quantity of detergent it uses for a better job. The steam works great. No lint on the washed clothes even if I mix them. I'm also happy with the fact that it uses much less energy and the rotor has a lifetime warranty.

Mt top-load washer died on me after 10 years. And I was excited to get my first front loader because of load balancing issue I kept having with my old top-load washer. Somehow I think front-loader will handle better on load balancing issue than the top-loader :)
So, I couldn't do my laundry for 2 days while I waited for my washer to arrive and my laundry included my daugher's bloody shirt from her nose bleed. Once it arrived, I loaded with all my children's (3 kids) clothes first with steam turned on ( I couldn't wait to use the steam option). And all the dirt and blood stains were gone (I did it with normal wash)! I was very impressed. And somehow all the clothes feel very fluffy. And it defenately feels so clean. All the food stain from my baby's bib came out completely as well. And my husband's white socks are back to white again. I am very impressed. I really enjoy doing laundry now :)
The capacity is really generous. I really really love it.

Great washer, old one used to move a bit with heavier loads. The steam cycle helps with mildew. Nicely sized for a smaller household. We've only had it for about a month, but there have been no issues so far.
