We purchased this fan with intentions of using it to dry carpet. During the summer we painted our garage walls and concrete floors, and this fan was a life saver. We were able to direct the air to blow on the ceiling and bounce back down without blowing directly on the painted surfaces. The heat would have been unbearable without this fan. It works great on drying carpets and any other type of flooring such as waxed commercial floors. It's lightweight for moving around easily and rotating the direction of the airflow. Great buy and would highly recommend it.
