Customer reviews for 20 lb. Flo-Coat Resurfacer

20 lb. Flo-Coat Resurfacer

Sakrete Flo-Coat is a flowable product used to rejuvenate old concrete surfaces. It's a great alternative to expensive concrete replacement. A polymer modified, flowable resurfacing material for making old concrete surfaces look new again.

Great product that made our front steps and porch look like brand new. We used concrete patch for the sides because it was a thicker product. However for the re-finishing of the top of the steps and porch it was a great product. Our porch and steps were pitted and looked bad. we used one bucket of this and one bucket of the sakrete concrete patch. So like 30 bucks in all plus a trowel. Not a bad alternative to the quotes we got from some companies to replace all of it for $800 plus.
Pros: Performs Well, Easy to Install, Easy to Work With, High Quality

I needed to resurface a small patch of concrete (about 20 sq ft). This stuff was great... mixed easily, poured easily, dried smooth and level with no apparent marks or major imperfections. Dont overstir the mix and you'll add bubbles and have to pay closer attention when it sets to avoid tiny pocks.
Overall a great product, although very expensive per square foot.
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Install, Easy to Work With, Seals Well
Cons: expensive for cement

No, I do not recommend this product.
The product worked well, but it didn't cover the area it said it would. We ended up using 3 times the amount we had thought we would use.

No, I do not recommend this product.
At 20 bucks a bucket, this is simply not cost effective. I am resurfacing my walkway on the side of my house, and I bought 2 of these buckets....now I have two small areas that look great, but there is no way I will spend the $200 bucks more to cover the rest of the walk. The instructions say it will cover so much more area than it really does.
Pros: Easy to Use, Easy to Install, Easy to Work With, Easy to Clean
Cons: poor coverage, not economical
