We have our master bathroom that was designed to be over our attached garage. Consequently the tile floor, in winter ,(northwest Indiana) gets' pretty cold. Having this heater to come on at 5:30 A.M. just does the trick to make the floor toasty warm to step onto from the shower. The rest of the day it is set to a certain temperature to maintain, just like our furnace thermostat. It is the only portable heater we found designed for the bathroom all others state no use in bathroom.
