I'm really tired of playing the battery game with cordless tools, so I bought this corded impact driver with the hopes that it will last me a lifetime. I've had it for about six weeks now and I can really say that the performance is superb. Screws go in and out easily with great speed. My old battery-operated unit doesn't have nearly the torque. It has the performance that you would only find in those old corded tools that you might find in your dad's old workshop. It's a keeper and well worth the $200 that I spent.
Pros: Durable, Powerful, Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight, Long-Lasting

This driver is much heavier and stronger than the Lithium powered ones. I thought having a cord would just mean extra reliability, but it also means having a very high torque, power driver. I intend to use this after my deck project for installing over head drywall. The perfect heavy duty application.

I purchased this after watching several reviews about impact drivers online. My friends were convinced it was not worth the money. The item arrived quickly, just in time to try it out on a doghouse my neighbor was building. This item definitely impressed everybody there. very solid product and use it several times to hang wall mounted monitors into wall studs without issues. This things lives up to all my expectations and more.

I have never had very good luck with cordless tools because of dead batteries all the time. The Makita 6952 Impact Driver was just what I was looking for. I've only used it a few times so far, but it appears to work great.
Pros: Powerful, Easy to Use

I use this at least ones a month, and it is still going strong. If I have more than a few screws to drive i will put the cordless away. The best thing about using this over a cordless is that every time you pull the trigger you will always be able to drive that screw home.
Dont hisatate to buy one.

I've used cordless impact drivers and they're ok, but as a general rule I prefer corded when available. When I found this Makita corded impact driver online I bought it. Right out of the box it performed as good, if not better than any cordless I have owned. I found that the corded driver to be easier to handle because there is no added weight of the battery.

As expected from a Mikita - an excellent tool overall. Powerful and feels good in the hand. A bit pricey but the only player out there.
