PRO: The fan is quiet. The fan comes with a 26 watt fluorescent bulb. Note, it is not your standard screw in type. It uses a GU24 base.
CONS: When I checked out the fan before I installed it, I noticed that the fan blade hit the housing, and made a scratching noise. The fan mounting bracket was bent. I thought about taking it back to the local store, but then decided to bend the bracket and repair it.
This fan is difficult to install. It uses a clip on the mounting bracket that mounts to a ceiling joist. However, you have to have a 2 x 6 joist. My truss was a 2 x 4. Therefore, I had to attach a 2 x 6 to the 2 x 4 to install the fan. Other fans I have installed have two rods that allow you to slide the fan between 2 joists to get the position you want. With this fan, you must use a joist or build another wood frame between the joists. The directions state "Snap the fan body into the bracket". Be aware that you will have to make your hole in the ceiling bigger than the fan in order to rotate it into the bracket. The fan can be mounted with the duct opening on the joist side or the other side. If mounted on the joist side (as mine was), there is very little room between the duct collar and the joist. While attaching the duct to the collar, I had very little to no room to tape the duct to the collar.
The junction box for connecting the wires is very small and made connections difficult. Granted I used three wire as I wanted the fan and light on different switches.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Fan sound is silent and my installation wasn't tough.
But you have to know and understand about a size and a structure of your install place well before purchasing.
Yes, I recommend this product.

The first week it worked fine and was super quiet - the second week in and the motor is humming but the fan does not start turning for almost 5 minutes; I have the feeling we will have to replace the unit very, very soon.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I am renovating a small bathroom and needed a quiet low profile exhaust fan that could be installed over the shower. What a great product, it is UL listed, small profile ( so it fits in even the most tightest of places). Installation could have not been any easier. Also found a Broan vent kit at Home Depot at a great price. There were other exhaust fans that were slightly cheaper but quiet use and having an energy star rating, made the slight increase in price a great decision. Only .5 Sones, which matters when doing such a small room.
Yes, I recommend this product.

This is the only fan I have found that is relatively easy to install from below. There isnt a template for cutting or enlarging the hole for the housing so you have to be a bit handy, Also, you have to work with the existing duct work and electrical so that can be a trick if it isnt long enough.
I note for the money, this is far better than other products out there.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Fan is quiet and effective for the space I needed.
Everything was included in the package to get up and running, including the CFL bulb.
It was very easy to install (new construction). Found the spot, mounted the bracket and snapped the fan into place.
The only complaint I have is that it would have been nice to have a bracket designed for spacers when working with engineered I-beam joists; I had to build out the edges to bypass the lip.
Yes, I recommend this product.
