My shower drain had clogged up with mostly hair since I live with two other girls , was so disgusted by having to shower in like 3in of soapy water. I tried the hanger thing, poured bleach , tried the toiled plunger & nothing worked. Did some online research and came across this AWESOME thing !!! It took a little longer than 7 min but it did its job I Definitely recommend it!!!
I had never used the Liquid Plumr Urgent Care. I've used other Liquid Plumr products with success. I followed the directions and in just a few minutes the clog was cleared and no the water drains very fast.
This stuff worked so well I had to write a review right after I used it. I have a shower that's slow draining. Every couple years it starts to get backed up. Maybe from build up in pipes? Let some shower water run til it started to back up, just slightly. Then I followed instructions on bottle. After 15 minutes I ran the shower with just hot water and it's all cleared up. I let the shower run for 5 minutes after. Hope this review helps anyone with a similar problem.
I have used this on a thick hair clog...awesome, I am very happy with it, it has a very very strong smell, but it works just great. I waited and used hot water, it worked so well....I hate clogged showers!!
Liquid Plumr never fails to get the job done on my shower drain. With family members who have long hair, we deal with drain problems despite our best clean up efforts after showering. We can count on this product to open our drain quickly and to effectively eliminate hair and gunk build up in the plumbing.
We have slow drains in our bathroom. I elected to use this product in the shower drain first, and I should have put a little more thought into it. It's a thick gel, but our problem was right at the drain grate and the gel went down into the drain. After rinsing, I fished the gunk out of the top of the drain (up where the gel went past), and the drain below was nice and clean. I wish I would have used it on the sink drain where it would have stayed in contact with the gunk, so I'm headed back to the store for another bottle. I think it probably works great if it can stay in contact for the 15 minutes required. One bottle only does one drain, so you need one for each.
This product is very similar to most other drain clog products that I have purchased before. I did notice however that this product worked faster than most. It was very easy to use and only took a few minutes to do.
Pros: Reliable, Easy to Install, Good Instructions
I have used several different drain openers in the past and the drain was still slow to empty. Liquid Plumr urgent clear is really easy to use. Just pour it into the drain, wait 15 minutes and flush with hot water. No plunging, no re-doing. The drain worked better than it has in years. It is fast, easy, inexpensive, and it works.
Pros: Easy to Use, High Quality, Good Size & Weight

No, I do not recommend this product.
3" of clear water in shower, toilet bowl up to within 2" of running over, the drains are at to highest level of house (quad level built in 1980)... drains never before were a problem.... no back-up in basement floor, kitchen drains run, other level dishwasher drain runs, other toilet flushes fine and the other shower drains fine... followed the Liquid-Plumr URGENT CARE from Kroger's at $4.89/bottle, 2 bottles, and slowly poured into shower drain, through still sitting 3-4" of warm water. Waited 10 minutes... nothing moving, some fizzling coming up from the tub drain (I have removed the hair trap cover, and removed the drain stopper if a full tub to sit in is wanted, and even before the Liquid-Plumr, used a old towel, wetted, and cover the overflow vent on tub, and used a heavy duty plugger and plugged 20-25 times before I went to buy the Liquid-Plumr URGENT CLEAR. NOTHING CLEARED! Calling professional plummer in morning as this is now 11pm and I started at 9pm to clear this simple drain. If something clears up. I will return to this site, as Paul UnHappyHomeOwner, and Apologize. Gibralter, Michgan (the temperature outside is only 9 degrees (inside my frustration now? About 210 degrees!) Wife used toilet, and said she flushed, and the toilet would not go down, and there was water in the tub! I just had the kitchen drain, and vent redone 3 weeks back, as the copper drain line (3") in wall, bellied out, and leaked into the ceiling below, causing lost 4'x4' drywall hole, and $220 repairs of all new PVC plastic drain tied into 6" drain vent/drain.........
