Bandits take two simple ideas and add them together, bungees and hooks. This package was of the small ones, there were three different sizes with the largest being about 4". The small ones look like large hair ties with a nice hook on them.
Because there's only one hook you have to have something to wrap these around. They're not good for tying items down unless the item has something you can hook/wrap the cord around. I use them in my workshop where I've attached them to shelving to use as hooks and to tie up extension cords.
I used them to wrap freezer bags, secure lids on plastic food containers for travel, and bundle wires and cords for untangled storage. I keep a few in my glove compartment, a pack in my camper and bunch in my kitchen junk drawer. I've even looped on few on my key chain. You will discover new uses for them every day. I even used one to allow my camera to continuously shoot multiple shots.
These bandits are really nice. I have used them to wrap up cords, keep pens together in my junk drawer, & most importantly secure the drinking tube of my hydration bladder to my backpack strap (as pictured). There are 3 different seizes but larger sizes would definitely be great. Overall I think they are very handy with a little creativity.
Each Bandit is a bungee-style loop with a hook. The idea is you wrap it around something then hang it up, as a way of keeping things organized. They appear well made and durable.
The hook is small; it will hook onto a wire shelf. You can hang stuff from a thick closet clothes rod by wrapping one Bandit around the rod and hanging other Bandits off of it.
Unfortunately, for me anyway, not many household items are amenable to being hung up this way. Either you need to take the Bandit off each time you use the item, which is a pain, or you limit use to only those items where you can leave the Bandit on permanently -- and I haven't found any household items that actually works with. Plus you need a place to hang the thing. So far my only good use for Bandits was to affix an AC adapter and some cords to the underside of a wire shelf.
If you have just the right use for them I'm sure they'd be very good. That would probably be something that you want to hang from a wire shelf and leave there for a while.
The bandit "bungee" style band with hook is a clever item... one of those, "why didn't I think of that?" Sort of like a hairband or small bungee with a plastic c-shaped hook on it. So many possible uses, such as wrapping around a stack of shopping reward cards or putting it around a pole and then handing a broom from it. Gives you a hook to hang things in places you might not otherwise be able to hang, or perhaps don't want to mar the surface with a nail or screw. I hang my kittie litter scoops from them and a small dustpan and broom in my laundry room and they have been handy and seem durable to withstand long-term use. Very happy with this product.
There are all different sizes in this package.Haven't used all of them yet, but I'm sure they will come in handy every time I say "I wish I had something I could use to hang that up with." They are small rubber band/bungee cord style ropes with hooks on the end--what a clever idea!
Pros: Sturdy, Easy to Install, Easy to Move, Nice Design, can be used so many different ways, so portable
