They were professional. Called and updated when running behind because they were trying to get a part for our installation to be complete. Helped moved the old refrigerator to the garage. Very professional.

Everything went very smoothly. No damage was done getting the fridge into place. I wish I had waited for the installer to remove the old fridge. Timing was exactly as promised.

Our double wall oven broke and we bought a new one at Home Depot, the installers came out to measure very quickly and came to install on a Saturday afternoon when our oven was delivered. Great Service.

Installers would not hook up dishwasher, in fact didn't even remove from box. would not take away old dishwasher (it is still on premises) refrigerator dented, front door sill damaged by moving in refrigerator, countertop damaged when removing old cooktop, no water hookup for icemaker on hand so we had to make a trip to HD to buy one, installer reluctant to wait until we could provide water hose as they had more jobs to do that day. It took us several days to get everything hooked up. We had to pay our own plumber, electricaian and handyman to complete the job. I will not use Home Depot for install again. Poor follow up by in-store consultant as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I purchase a washer and dryer on HomeDepot.com for delivery in NYC. ONe of the main reasons I ordered through Home Depot.com was the free installation. Little did I know, Home Depot doesn't install gas appliances in NYC. That wasn't written on the website. I found out through an automated message received the day prior to delivery. I had to call the local Home Depot and schedule (and pay for) a third party installation for the gas dryer. When the appliances were delivered, the delivery people refused to install the washer because they claimed "there was a mist" in the valve... whatever that means. So I was going to have to order (and pay for) a third party installation for the washer as well. At that point, I decided to return the items and get a refund. However, I was told that I'd be charged a 15% restocking fee if I did that. So I decided not to return the items. The local Home Depot did waive the third party installation fees. Still, I will never ever order appliances from Home Depot.com after this horrible experience.

I cannot believe that the Home Depot has not once come to my house to inspect the damages or the poor installation that was done when installing the granite counter tops. You have shown such little concern for the well being of a costumer. I have told and shown my friends the poor job that was done and they have assured me that you would be the last company they would ever use. I keep hoping you will resolve this matter quickly.

What a disaster! Long story short: Installer said he couldn't install unit, I spent 4+ hours on the phone and had to wait 4 days to get someone out for fairly easy install. I learned that HomeDepot.com, it's third party installers, phone channels, online support and individual stores have no knowledge of what the others are doing. Couldn't have gone worse.

Mix Up on Installation Order Had to Be Fixed by Store Manager

The Home Depot Roswell Store Service Desk did not know the correct procedure to put in the installation order. I did not get a call from the Installer within 24 hrs and when I called the Service Desk at the store, they could not help me. I had to ask for the Store Manager who straightened our the order. The Installer came at the appointed time and did a good job. I had to pay $199 extra to have a metal box installed for the fan due to building code requirements. The fan I was replacing was installed on a plastic box.

Microwave installation needed a special installer for tile which was not explained to me at purchase. The second installer did a fine job but had to wait for his boss to get the ok since the cost of doing the work was in question. This delayed installation a couple of days and 45 min. for second installer to get the ok form his boss who contracts with HD. Not all people at the store to lack some training or basic knowledge which is kept to a few. More education for the people on the floor would help.

Installer showed up 30 minutes late, and from the start sounded like he was looking for a reason to come back the next day. We told the company that we had a gabled ceiling with the fixture 14 1/2 feet high. Upon examining the installation site he said that he would have to come back tomorrow because he had a 15 ft. tall ladder. When he returned the next day he said that he needed a different mounting kit that is no standard - he was there the day before, that would have been a better time to say that. He left to go to Home Depot to get the kit. Upon completion he said the charge was $452. The estimate had been $225 to $250. After much "DISCUSSION", they dropped the price to $362. Never again!.

We recently got a LG dishwasher. The salesman was friendly and helpful and explained the process well. We got it delivered when they said they would come and that was seamless. The installation gentleman was informative and helpful and gave us all of his information in case we had any questions or issues after the installation. It's been a few weeks now and, knock on wood, there haven't been any issues and we're enjoying our new quiet dishwasher.

I think the LG dryer and washer I bought are great however the outsourced installation service from HD was very poor. They refused to remove my prior washer and dryer because they were three feet of the ground instead of the imaginary two foot high mark they gave me was the most they could lift. Because of this, they left the appliances at my front doorstep and told me it was up to me to get them up and down and dispose of the old units.
Also, if using propane, HD should sell the kits in the stores and make it easier to get access to and also inform you that you will need to have a propane company hook them up.
The store manager did a great job intervening and sending employees from the store to help but this created a fair experience when it could have been a great one.

Washer is working great. A picture of it working would be silly.The installation was a remove and replace so no major counter/cabinet changes were required.
