Great service from the ordering to the moment they left from the install. Showed up on time and cleaned up as they went. Nothing left for us to do except to put our furniture back! The employees were clean and presentable for the installation of carpet.
My carpet has been installed and now my door will not close. When the measurements were done prior to installation, they should have let me know that this could have been a potential problem and provided me with options. They are after all the experts. When the door was installed, opening and closing door became too difficult and i later had to remove door. I asked if they could give me options or alternatives on how to fix this problem or alter door, but none were provided.

We apologize for the inconvenience and lack of follow up. We will notify the stores leadership of your concerns and have someone follow up with you. Thank you for your patience.
Installation of the carpet was so good that my daughter, who was visiting from California at the time, decided to purchase her carpet at Home Depot after she arrived home. I am VERY happy with the installation and the service.
Had carpet installed. Was guaranteed 3 day installation but had to wait 5. Never dealt with the most unprofessional people both working for Home Depot and their install company. Trying to figure out when it would actually be installed, I had to take countless hours out of my day and miss 2 full days of work to make sure it would actually happen. Will never use Home Depot for any install again, lowes has my business now.
We were informed that someone would call the day before to confim, when no one called we called and they had gone home for the day and were told to call us the next day. That did not happen, nor did the installation. When we called they apologized with the excuse that they were using a new scheduling tool and they scheduled for the next week. I was very specific about them calling the day before and she assured me that she would. Again that did not happen, but the moring of the installer called. This was our bedrooms and we were moving the furnature and not many people like sleeping on the floor because somone they are paying for service cannot make a simple phone call.
The installation of our carpet looks beautiful. The seam cannot b found. The carpet is tight around the stair. Clean up was excellently done. The entire two rooms and hall were very quickly done. And the installers were professional and personable. A job well done!
The folks at Home Depot were extremely knowledgable and helpful in helping me choose the right carpet choice for my new home. The crew that came out to do the install was professional, courteous, and quick!
The installers arrived when they said that they'd arrive - were speedy in getting the furniture moved and the old carpet ripped up! The new carpet (while I didn't chose the most expensive) looks and feels expensive! They did a fabulous job and I'm one happy camper!
Only issue we had was getting the carpet installed in the 72 hours they promised (the type we went with was 72 hr special). The schedulers said they would be there early, then the called the day before and said were coming 3-4 hours later than original.
I have no idea how the installers were since nobody was home since the schedule was messed up, but the outcome was perfect. The seams are difficult to spot and there seemed to be no damage.

Great install, wonderful people and customer service.
The people who installed my carpet were excellent, on time, and treated my home with care. The supervisor called to make sure everything was going well, I thought that was nice. The installers were very professional and hard working. The carpet turned out great, very pleased with the results.

Review 16 for Carpet Installation

JW Flooring and Home Depot performed with Excellence
Good carpet selection. Good pad selection. Good installation price. Ridiculous five-week lead-time required!
I have several apartment buildings that I am recarpeting for the first time. Started recarpeting with Home Depot but will not finish with them. They promise 72 hour turnaround time on install; but the Six carpets they offer for 72 hour install are all junk, 10 ounce face-weight carpets. Their five-week lead time for the quality carpets is ridiculous.

Sorry for the delay. We pride ourselves on the quality products that we sell, and sometimes for quality, the lead times can be longer than others. We appreciate your business and do value your feedback.
Measuring was done incorrectly delaying project and repeat measuring was also incorrect causing a problem with installation and a pattern issue on finished installed carpet. Dye from padding marked walls and multiple walls had chips and dings on painting completed two weeks prior. Dent in wall left by installer to be repaired and repainted. Carpet and pad appear subpar and areas do not cover gap between floor and wainscot. Small piece of example carpet did not relay the poor quality of carpet in the finished area. Transition between tile, hardwoods and carpet have a step down feel and are rough. Can see all seams in the room on the carpet. Bathroom floating steps installation makes it look like the carpet is cut and needs replacing. This even after the forman coming back out to work on the area. The worst carpet and experience ever and I've had numerous experiences over the years. The carpet should be pulled and replaced.
