From start to finish this was a great experience! This was my first time having someone install something in my home and I'm glad I chose The Home Depot. The associate at the store answered every question I had and educated me on future care of the doors that were installed. The installation took less time than I thought and looks amazing!

Our installation involved removing a thirty year old storm door and front door that no longer fit tightly into the frame. The installer remained quite pleasant and courteous, even through a problem part of the installation that he had warned me about when he first arrived and inspected the job site. The job site was cleaned up with no sawdust or miscellaneous bits of wood left lying around for me to clean up. The installer was extremely competent and adjusted the frame to make sure that every surface was level so there would be a tight fit around the door. I am extremely pleased and have just placed an order to have another outside (back) door installed by Home Depot.

Door came with insufficient number of screw hole plugs. Installer ordered them. When the plugs came by mail, they were the wrong color. I was told that they do not color match the door. I needed to paint the plugs myself. I would expect the door manufacturer to provided color matched plugs.

rep at Home Depot did not know status of service and so we ended up having to go to the store 2 times to complete request for installation. Installer called to tell me he was going to the doctor, I returned phone call to ask for what and he said poison ivy. Tried to get another installer but couldn't and already took off work to have it done. Guess doctor took a while because he was later (1.5 hr after original time). Lastly, on one informed us that the alarm would be disconnected and not reconnected. I will never have home depot do another installation. They got there money and I finally got my door but after being inconvenienced and poor service.
No, I do not recommend this product.

After putting up with an old door with a huge doggie door in it (previous owners) I finally made getting a new door a priority. Went to Home Depot (my "go to" for all home projects) and got it done. Within a few weeks I finally had my new door. Not sure why I waited so long to get it done.

I had some issues actually getting my door install scheduled but the installer was great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The Home Depot staff was also very friendly and patient as we went through the process of choosing what was right for my needs.

Install was average. I still have to caulk around door. I recently in December had new roof, gutters, downspouts and facia installed by my contractor. The Home Depot installed my door. Installer dented the new facia. He said nothing of denting the facia. I called Home Depot and intaller. Left message with installer, talked to Joanna at HD and told her of situation. Installer came and checked out dent after several days. The installer could not figure out how the gutters be removed to remove facia. I called my contractor to walk him through how to do job. The installer left stating he would have to talk to his boss and said he would return. After thinking about it I called Joanna and contractor and told them not to come back. T I did not have confidence in contractor and did not want my new work to be damaged any further. After talking to my contractor I made appointment to pay him for repair of the dent. I have had two different contractors tell me that there is no way first installer would not have known of denting the facia, its a 'signifigant dent'.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The only real problem we had was that we ordered an interior door and an exterior door. The interior door was a pick up and the exterior door was an install. When we were called to say the interior door was in the exterior door was waiting at the service desk instead, needless to say we were in the store for a few hours before it was cleared up and we were a little upset to have our Saturday wasted that way. as far as the install goes it went great but I thought it read in the install summary that they would put up to 4" of wall compound around door if needed. The top of the wall above the door could have used some but it was not done and the items left behind that were not needed were a real pain to return, we are not even sure we were reimbersed for all that was not used because the installer said he left some things behind that we totaled to a completely different amount than we got back. Some communication issues for sure : (

Installers were on time. They removed the old door and replaced with a new one. They were very professional and skillful. It took them two hours to get job done. We are very happy with the installers. We like the online project tracking system.

The installer came out to do the measurements and I asked him his recommendation as to the brand and type of entry door, as well as the storm door. He made his recommendation and I checked them out on HD's website. The wife-half and I liked both recommendations, so that's what we ordered. They were installed the next week and we are very pleased. Everything from the selection process to the installation went very smoothly. I have already recommended HD's door installation services to a friend.

Everything went well except the trim that was sent for the installer to work with was too short. The installer had to put blocks at the base of the trim and it didn't match. The corners weren't the best and I'm going to have to replace the trim. The installer was very nice, polite and friendly.

Install was great. I will do this again. The only hick up was the folks at Home Depot. They failed to order the doors, then someone was on vacation. I had to call as find out what was going on. Install was delayed 2 weeks due to the ball being dropped at the store. The measuring for my door happened within just a few days of my order which was great. I am very happy with the install though..
