"This is a great trash can that last a long time and can take a beating! It is a little smaller than most I've had but can easily fit 2-3 full bags of trash."

"Three cheers to Home Depot for selling this can including the lid in the price. No one else does. Looks like it will last a good number of years. Appears to be very durable."

"This rates right up there with Timex...It takes a licking and keeps on...you get the point. This is a great buy too. Cosco sells the same product and charges for the container and the lid seperatly. Home Depot sells the container and lid for one low price. Nice work home depot. A+ Thank you for helping out the working class. This is a great buy. For a good laugh compare the price on costco. Peace."

"We have had four of these trash cans in service here at the church building for over six years. We use them both inside and out. We collect trash in them during the week for the twice weekly pickup. In six years they have been blown about and thrown about, but they have withstood all abuse given them. We are about to get some more trash cans and would not consider buying anything else. We did attach the lids to the cans by short pieces of clothes line rope because our trash collectors do not always replace the lids."

After an exhaustive search, HD saved the day!

"The lid lables this grey composite as food rated. I am happy to have my rain water collection set up so inexpensively. 2 = 64 gallons. I secured fine mesh screen over the top opening with rubber bungies. The large mouth surface is perfect for collecing water. The secure lid is great to minimize evaporation. This water is ready for emergency consumption. More likely lawn irrigation in the long hot summer. By next winter I will have two more."

Best can out there!

"I use this trash can for my yard maintenance business. It has worked out great, holding plenty of product. The lid snaps on and stays on. It flew out of my truck one day and landed on the roadway at 60mph. Turned around and found it in the ditch, few scratches but lid was still secured and no cracks or major damage done. This is one tough trash can. I will be buying a few more this year. Highly recommended."

The Best!!

"I have been a Garbage Man for nine years and have NEVER seen a broken Brute trash can. During the winter months, just about every can in the market breaks from freezing. They shatter like glass. Brute trash cans are the only cans that survive super hot Summers, and sub- zero Winters. They take the beating of being filled, emptied, dragged, dropped, slammed into metal to free frozen trash and thrown for many, many years. I am so confident in the can that I made an account on here just to help people in their purchase. I also own Brute myself. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! !"

Super Strong Garbage Can

,

"We purchased this garbage can and it was the perfect choice. It's sturdy, but not too heavy for lifting and carrying, and comes with a lid to keep the rain and "critters" out. Most other brands require you purchase a separate lid.
You can also purchase an optional wheel attachment that snaps onto the bottom so you don't have to carry it at all.
I highly recommend it."

Worth the cost

,

"We use these cans at work. The stairs that lead down to the dumpster area are made of metal gridwork, and the wheel dolly gets stuck in the gaps. Consequently, we have to drag the cans, without the wheel dollies, down the stairs, across the asphalt, and into the dumpster enclosure. We routinely do this with upwards of 60lbs of trash in the cans. They do eventually wear out, but they take an amazing amount of punishment before they do. I would imagine that with the amount of use they would see in a residential setting, they would last forever. An extremely durable can, and well worth the extra money you might spend."

Great trash can!

,

"The area I live in requires you to provide your own 32 gallon trash can. I have owned the other available 32 gallon trash can and absolutely hated it! The wheels didn't swivel and it was difficult to drive, not to mention the handle pulled loose when you tried to take it to the curb with a full load!
This can, when combined with the wheel base (sold separately) is awesome! You can haul two of them at a time because the wheels swivel in any direction and move easily. Plus it's a tough can and the lid stays put!
It's more expensive than the other 32 gallon option, but it's well worth the price in the long run!
