Do not really know what your roof type is as it makes a lot of difference in an answer.
You say for an RV, if so, it may be a metallic roof, if it is, is it badly weathered?
For an RV metallic roof that is not weathered you should use a coating, that is specifically for that roof and an RV dealership may be the only ones that handle it.
If it is badly weathered, you would probably be better off using "Henrys White Roofing Sealant", which is a water based sealant.
If it has a lot cracking, you may have to use the fabric reinforcing mesh that "Henrys" sells for it, which would be in the same department
If it is a shingle roof, and a rolled asphalt then "STA COOL" would work well, it could take 2 coatings to completely seal all voids.
Most leaks come from around the roof vents, etc. and may require extra patching before coating the roof.
