I work at a rec center that is currently trying to find a solution to sweeping the field. Some sweepers designed specifically for turf fields cost up to 7k. This would be a great solution if at all possible.

Thank you for contacting the Home Depot website. John Deere's 42 in. tow-behind lawn sweeper collects leaves and grass clippings with It's powerful brushes for a clean sweep the first time through your lawn. This unit will also work on a turf field. You will just want to make sure that the brushes are adjusted just above the turf and not dragging. Dragging on the turf will cause wear on the brushes and the gear system.

There is a rope attachment to the frame that you pull to invert the bin (hopper). I just grab the frame and pull. Do not overload because it will be so heavy that it becomes difficult to dump. You will learn the size load as you use the lawn sweeper.

"Fully Adjustable"??? It has a fairly long adjustment range. The brushes will touch my driveway if lowered all the way down, and will raise to about 5 inches up if raised all the way. Generally I raise it all the way up if towing it to where I'm using it, and let it down to the 2nd or 3rd notch for use.

Yes. The drag on your garden tractor or the Honda 2 wheeler is minimal. The faster you travel the faster the brushes turn. I recommend a moderate speed so you are not having to make numerous passes to clean the area. The adjustment at the hitch and the actual catch bin is essential. This allows the brush to strike the ground and sweep the debris into the bin. Play around with the brush heights to get the desired stroke to the ground.

I was unhappy about the weak tubing used in the construction of the bag but I have to give credit where credit's due: The customer service rep at Agrifab was very helpful and they're shipping me a new tube free of charge.

I'll fix it and just be very careful not to get too much weight in the bag before dumping. I will also try to reinforce the tubing when I replace it.

Overall. I am satisfied with the sweeper, but I'm still a little surprised that it isn't more robust...
