Question
Looking to replace GE Model # J E1456KWH 02 (20 Yrs old) with GE model JES1456WJ
I have model #J E1456KWH 02 (20 years old) and looking to replacing it with Model JES1456WJ. The dimensions seems to be quiet similar.Old Micro 23.50 x 13.50 x 17 replacement micro 21.88 x 12.31 x 17.28 Will the new micro fit in to the existing trim kit (JX18K/JX18W) that is now installed? The existing opening is 24 1/4 W x 17 5/8 H x 24 D or can you recommend a new trim kit in white.

Model JES1456WJ is not approved for built-in cabinet installation.
The current model today is JEB1860DM and requires trim kit JX2027DM. The new trim kit would need to be used as screw hole locations have changed and cosmetics. The cutout needed is larger in width and the sides may need to be shimmed out or altered slightly.
Height: 16-3/4 ± 1/16
Width: 25-1/2 ± 1/8
Depth: 22" MIN. receptacle in cabinet 19-1/2" MIN. receptacle outside cabinet
