Lisa,

We are happy to help. The Red does not contain sensors that would need to be replaced to control these functions. The trouble with your ignition may be resolved by changing the battery. You can access the battery cap on the left side panel of the grill cart. The cap will unscrew and you will be able to replace the old battery with a new AA battery. The negative end of the battery will be inserted first. The inability to control the temperature of your grill may be caused by several factors such as the condition of your burners, control knobs, or hose, valve, regulator assembly. Please contact us at 1-800-241-7548 so that we may fully troubleshoot the issues you are experiencing, help you in ordering replacement parts if they are needed, and provide helpful instillation advice. We are available Monday through Friday 8;00 am to 6;00 pm EST and Saturday 10;00 am to 3;00 pm EST.

Question

Char-broil Grille grates

What are the sizes for each of the grates for the Charbroil Red 3 burner. I have the porcelain coated and would rather have stainless steel. The porcelain grates are worthless and very hard to keep clean.

Each of the main cooking grates is 9.09" x 16.88". For the best results, we recommend using the cooking grates that were designed specifically for your grill.
