Although Clicker products work with nearly every major brand, this happens to be one that the Clicker will not be compatible with.

This remote will not work on the Marantec as far as I know. Marantec is a very difficult opener to interchange with universal products. I would research further with Marantec before purchasing a universal remote.

Hi Bobby G! The Chamberlain Clicker model KLIK1U is compatible with most garage door openers. The frequency and algorithms for each brand of garage door opener are unique to each manufacturer. Due to the many different brands and algorithms used its impossible to include every possible code in a single remote control. Your Allistar garage door opener is not one of the brands that Clicker is compatible with. You may want to consider the Chamberlain Universal Remote Control Replacement Kit model 955D which will convert your garage door opener to Chamberlain Security + rolling code. The included remote control and receiver feature anti-burglary technology for maximum security. You can order this from Home Depot using the link below.

Hi Bigfoot! The Chamberlain Clicker model KLIK1U is compatible with most brands of garage door openers and receivers. The Ambass-a-dor receiver however is not compatible due to the frequency this device operates on. You may want to consider replacing your old Ambass-a-dor receiver with a new Chamberlain receiver. Home Depot offers the Chamberlain 955D receiver kit which includes both the receiver and one remote control. Upgrading your receiver will allow you to take advantage of the industry leading security offered through Chamberlains rolling code technology. You can use the link below to find the Chamberlain 955D on the Home Depot website.

Hi Pete! The Chamberlain Clicker model KLIK1U is compatible with most garage door openers including some Wayne Dalton models. The Wayne Dalton Quantum has a built in receiver that operates on a 303Mghz frequency and is not compatible with the Chamberlain Clicker as a result. You will need to find a direct replacement from Wayne Dalton or may be able to substitute with a built in vehicle garage door opener such as HomeLink.

Hello ag, I’m Newf from the Home Depot’s how-to Community. Thank you for your question.

You do not need the old remote in order to use the Clicker.

The Clicker can be programmed in 2 ways, depending on how old, (or what model), of door opener you have. Either you will set the DIP switches on the clicker to match the settings on the head unit, or you will press a “learn” button found on newer head units to program the Clicker.

Complete instructions are included with the new remote.

I hope this helps,
Newf.

Hi Monica! The Chamberlain Clicker model KLIK1U is compatible with most garage door opener brands. However the frequency use by your Marantec garage door opener is not compatible. You may want to consider adding a Chamberlain Universal Receiver model 955D to your existing Marantec garage door opener. The Chamberlain model 955D includes both the receiver and on Chamberlain remote control. Adding a Chamberlain receiver will allow you to take advantage of Chamberlain's Security Plus rolling code adding additional security to your garage door opener. You can find more information on the Chamberlain 955D on the Home Depot website using the link below.

Hello this is Tangelo from the Home Depot Community!

Based on your model, it seems to have been made around 2004, you would follow the color PURPLE, so push the button 3 times. it could be that the button is faded or looks different color in certain light. It can't be Green because you would have purchased it between 1993-1996, and that model number was not available at that time. So PURPLE it is!

I hope this helps, if you have any more questions you can find me on our website at community.homedepot.com

Hi Rob421! The Chamberlain Clicker model KLIK1U is compatible with most garage door opener brands including Wayne Dalton. The Wayne Dalton Quantum however is not compatible due to the frequency the built in receiver operates on. To use your new Clicker you can add an external receiver like the Chamberlain 955D. Upgrading your garage door openers receiver will increase the security of your garage door through Chamberlains rolling code technology.

Hi Beanie! The Chamberlain Clicker model KLIK1U is compatible with Overhead Door garage door openers that use intellicode. You may want to check the owners manual for your ACRS10 to verify but the information I was able to find indicates your garage door opener uses codedoger electronics and not intellicode. While the Clicker won't be compatible if you have codedoger you can still add a remote and upgrade your garage door opener to Chamberlains Rolling Code technology using the Chamberlain 955D universal receiver. The Chamberlain 955D will replace the built in receiver in your garage door opener and includes one remote control as well. You can find more information on the Chamberlain 955D on the Home Depot website using the link below.
