The Wayne Dalton Quantum has a built in receiver that operates on a 303Mghz frequency and is not compatible with the Chamberlain Clicker as a result. You will need to find a direct replacement from Wayne Dalton or may be able to substitute with a built in vehicle garage door opener such as HomeLink.

I'm not familiar with the "Ultra Lift 1/3" if it's a Chamberlain then this will work, actually the Chamberlain Clicker Universal Remote Control is compatible with almost all brands of garage door openers.

You do not need the old remote in order to use the Clicker.

The Clicker can be programmed in 2 ways, depending on how old, (or what model), of door opener you have. Either you will set the DIP switches on the clicker to match the settings on the head unit, or you will press a “learn” button found on newer head units to program the Clicker.

Complete instructions are included with the new remote.

You may want to consider adding a Chamberlain Universal Receiver model 955D to your existing Marantec garage door opener. The Chamberlain model 955D includes both the receiver and on Chamberlain remote control. Adding a Chamberlain receiver will allow you to take advantage of Chamberlain's Security Plus rolling code adding additional security to your garage door opener. Based on your model, it seems to have been made around 2004, you would follow the color PURPLE, so push the button 3 times. it could be that the button is faded or looks different color in certain light. It can't be Green because you would have purchased it between 1993-1996, and that model number was not available at that time. So PURPLE it is!
