I read some reviews that the assembly can be difficult. I ordered the grill online with pickup at my local store. There was an option you could choose to have them assemble it prior to pickup. When I picked it up, the grill was all put together and ready to go!

If you're concerned with the assembly, it's a great way to go. I do highly recommend the Weber. It's a very high quality grill!

Hello bill and thank you for your question.

There are a number of components which are detailed in the assembly instructions found here: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pd....

The detailed drawings show exactly what is required for each step in the assembly process. You can also choose to ship the grill to your local Home Depot store where we offer free assembly if that would be of further assistance.

Best wishes with your project.

Yes, but only when purchased from Home Depot. The cast iron grates can be purchased separately for about $60 if you purchase the grill elsewhere, but why not get them included for no extra cost by buying it here?

You can, but it costs about $125, if you know you are going to want Natural Gas, much cheaper to buy it that way.

Due to the complexity of the technology, gas train components and the level of dis-assembly that would have to be performed, Weber does not allow conversions or offer conversion kits. This decision was made in the interest of safety and applies to Weber gas grills and the charcoal Performer. If you have any additional questions please feel free to contact us at 1-800-446-1071.

Question

I plan to purchase a Spirit E-320 and have it assembled by the local Home Depot (Santa Maria) but I don't think it will fit in my Honda CR-V.

Can it be partially assembled, such that it will fit in my car leaving me with an easy final assembly once I get it home?

You can probably have them do the bottom assembly, they you would just assembly the BBQ unit on top. I don't see why that wouldn't work. (It would save you about 30 minutes.)

You can remove the lid by removing 2 clips in the back ( very easy ). Then remove the grates and the bars and place the grill horizontally after lowering your back seats. Worked for me for spirit e 310 on my CRV. Home depot guy helped me with the loading.

I season the grates with olive oil cooking spray. I spray the grates before I turn on the grill each time and over the past two months, they've become nicely seasoned. The first few times I used the grill, food would stick... now it's becoming seasoned and doing great!

A "Gas Grill" would use a propane tank to provide the gas. A natural gas grill would connect by hose to your home's natural gas line. Hope this helps!

Gas Grill uses propane, it has a 5 Gallon external tank that you refill. The 5 Gallons last a long time, I BBQ alot and go through 2 1/2 a summer.
Natural Gas you need a special connection outside your house to connect into. Very convenient. My Dad has this and loves never getting a refill.
