I don't think it can and you wouldn't want to. It would be terribly unstable to work on.

the first bracket is 1ft off the floor, the next are 2,3,and 4 ft up. Im 6'2" so the first step put my head within 10" of the ceiling, made it real easy for me to scrape the acoustic spray off.

You would need to make sure that the locking pin is disengaged. Once this is disengaged please fold the sides in towards the center. This will also the scaffold to fold.

Look for the small silver button in the middle post. When these are new that button is difficult to press all the way in, it really does take some force. Once it clicks you will be able to fold the sides in towards the center and collapse the scaffold in on itself. It won't be flat but its close and it stores away nicely.

If you follow the rules set forth by OSHA, absolutely not. I have personally not placed a ladder on this unit, nor would I as it is too small to fit one one for starters and the weight limit on this little scaffold is over rated in my opinion. My answer would be a very strong suggestion of NO.

We cannot suggest using a ladder on this platform for safety purposes. The PS-48 was not manufactured for this type of application.

Extra planks can be ordered as a replacement part for the scaffolding. These can be ordered either online, or through a local distributor. Please provide the distributor with the scaffold ID information and the planks can be special ordered for you.

The PS-48 rolling scaffold only has a maximum height of 4ft and you cannot stack these. If you need to reach a height of 12ft we would suggest the SRS-72. This unit is a 6ft steel rolling scaffold but you can stack this. The max height would be 12ft.
