Handy, typically the surface is simply painted over. You should have no problems with priming over the Dry Erase with a wall primer such as our Zinsser Bulls Eye 1-2-3 Primer and then painting with the product of your choice. Removal would require that the Dry Erase be sanded off, and should not be necessary.

Can this dry erase paint be colored or tinted? I don't want to effect the dry-erase function in any way by coloring.

I painted a portion of a wall but it does not erase completely. We waited the suggested 3 days; should I paint another coat on top, does it possibly need to be thicker?

Hello AJR,

I'm sorry you are having problems erasing. I suggest using rubbing alcohol on a soft, clean rag to remove the residue. This should get off any of the remaining marks.

At first I thought that I inadvertently used a permanent marker, but after putting on my glasses realized it was in fact a black dry erase board pen, the same one we used in the past on our old board.

I was relieved to find that using Goof-off I was able to remove the writing, but this will not work moving forward. What should we do?
