As a matter of fact the hose comes in the package with each end inserted into the the other end. This shows that it will extend the same hose and add to the length.

Adapting to the inlet of the vacuum can be an issue, but can be accomplished with PVC fittings and rubber plumbing adapters connectors. Measure the inlet and go to a hardware store to see what might work. I would generally replace with the same size hose, bigger hose are less flexible and heavier and you have to adapt at the accessory end of the hose to fit your tools.

I’m not sure which extension hose you are referring to since there’s no part number specified. But if you are looking for an extension hose for the 3-gallon vac, you could get the same 7-foot super flex hose (831327 part number). You can special order it at Home Depot stores, or over the phone at 1-800-474-3443 options 1, 3 and 1 or on-line at www.ridgidparts.com using this link http://ridgidparts.com/cgi-bin/etcTable?showTable=1&table=WD30500-Figure1&image=Vac.

This is a hose for a vacuum system, not a pressure hose to pump with. If you are looking to replace a hose from an existing shop vacuum. I'd replace the hose with the same size. Longer hoses can be connected if needed. If you are looking for a hose for a fixed (central vacuum system) I would not go this large, It's very hard to route and store when not in use.

There is a 10 fot PROFESSIONAL GRADE one available. I suspect you can attach several together with adapter kits.

This is the part of the kit that allows you to attach the hose to the vacuum so that it does not pull out when you pull on the hose while doing a floor or something. Hence, the tug-a-long in the name.

To click on a tab to hold the hose to the main unit so it won't pull off if you pull the vacuum by the hose.

I'm not sure, but if your vac has a standard hose connection - it should. Buy it and if it doesn't fit take it back and get your money back. H.D. has easy return policy.

The Tug-A-Long hose is 1-7/8" and your vacuum also uses 1-7/8" hose. I see no reason why it would not fit.
