If you use the 77DW or 77DV switch (sold separately) with this fan, you will be able to operate the fan independently from the heater.

The ventilator and heater are controlled by separate switches and your wall control would need both. There is a separate fan for each function. You can run either independent of the other or both together.

Hi, Sharon. Thanks for your patience. Thank you for your interest in our products. We appreciate your business. The only 15-minute timer we offer that is suitable is the model VX63WH. This 20 AMP model can be used on all Nutone heaters and fans. Thanks, again.

First of all I am not an electrician and you should contact one for a qualified answer. That being said, the directions for the unit say to hook it up to a 20 amp circuit, therefore I feel the timer should also be rated for 20 amps on 110 volts. Hope this helps.

Hi, Kiwi. Thank you for your interest in our Heat/Vent/Light model for your bathroom. We appreciate your business. Yes, this can be ducted through your roof. This unit has a 6” duct. You will need a 6” adjustable elbow (model 419), and 6” round duct (model 406 – 2’ sections -- only available in packs of 5 pcs). These two accessories are not available on Home Depot.com, however, your local Home Depot store can special order them. You may also be able to source something locally in your area. If you have further installation questions, please contact our Technical Support Department at 888-336-6151. Thanks, again

Thank you for your question about the QTXN110HFLT. When we enter information onto the Home Depot site, we try to be as thorough as possible. This unit includes a heater. A heater will draw more AMPs. It does require a dedicated 20 AMP circuit. IF you scroll down on the page to Info & Guides, pull up the Installation Instructions. It’s is clearly stated on the first page. If you have further questions, please contact our Technical Service Department at 888-336-6151. Thanks, again.

Yes it does require it's own 20 amp breaker because of the power draw of the heating unit. Most existing heating fan units are already on their own circuit. You will just need to make sure that it's a 20 amp breaker and not a 15 amp breaker.

Hi, Stan. Thank you for your question about the WS130WW Allure Range Hood. This unit is hard wired. While it has a type of plug on the motor, it must be hard wired. If you scroll down on the page you will find the Installation Instructions and see that it must be connected to house wire. If you have any additional installation questions, just dial 888-336-6151 and our Technical Support Department will be able to assist. Thanks, again.

Hi, Stan. My sincere apology . . . I must correct the original answer. Here is the correct answer.
Thank you for your question about switches for the QTXN110HFLT. You can definitely use a timer. We offer a 60-minute and a 15-minute along with separate on/off controls that fits a two-gang outlet box. We would not suggest the thermostat on this unit. This heater is designed to be used while you’re in the room. It is not a primary heat source that can be used for continuous operation. If you have further questions about the thermostat or the switches we offer, call out Technical Support Department at 888-336-6151. Thanks, again.

In my previous question, I was told the 62W (20 AMp 60 minuteIn-Wall Dial Timer with 2 On/Off Rocker Switches) was the correct switch/timer for my model QTXN110HFLT. After recieving it, I don't see enough contacts. All I can see is a Timer for Heater, 1 contact for Exhaust Vent, 1 contact for Light, nothing left for night light? Please advise. Thanks, Billy

Hi, Billy. Thank you for your follow-up question. You originally asked if you had the correct timer switch. The response was yes, it’s a fine choice. The reason we suggested that you contact Technical was in case you need assistance with the fact that wiring a four-function unit to a three function switch would mean that two functions (such as the exhaust fan and light) would have to be on one control. We offer a four function switch (not with a timer) model 77DW, or you would have to install a separate timer (61W or 59W) with a separate three-function switch (66W). We do not have a 4-function switch that includes the timer. Since my original response was not well-written, and we want to be certain you as the customer gets the correct product, give us a call at 888-336-6151 and speak with our Technical Support Department. Thanks, again.
