Thank you for your inquiry. We suggest you refer to your local codes in order to determine if R19 is recommended for crawl space walls. If R19 is recommended for crawl space walls, R19 is made to fit 2x6 studs/walls. I'm guessing that the floor/ceiling joists are 2 x 10 or larger, so code will more than likely require a higher R value for that. The Owens Corning website provides videos for both conditioned and unconditioned crawl spaces. The videos should be able to assist your application. Please reach out if you have further questions.

You will need to check with your state building code for R values for crawlspaces. As far as the vapor retarder goes, again, this is ultimately a building code issue, but generally the vapor retarder is installed toward the "lived-in" side, that is, facing up toward the subfloor.

No reason you couldn't. But it's not something made to walk around on. You could walk on it now & then, but too much wear would tear it up.

The insulation would not be the cause of condensation, or "sweating." This is usually caused by insufficient or blocked ventilation in the attic.

If your basement is conditioned (Heated and cooled), and you would use unfaced insulation in the ceiling area. If it is not conditioned (Heated and cooled), then you would use faced insulation, and the facing would be installed towards the conditioned side of your home (warm in winter side), so you would see pink if you look at the ceiling in your basement. Fiberglass insulation is manufactured to friction fit in your joists so stapling is not required. It would also be recommended that you consult your local building code as there may be specific requirements in your area for your project.
