Hello, RJ. The 50 in. 24 HP Kawasaki V-twin Zero-Turn Riding Mower RZT50 for 2011 has the 24 hp Kawasaki V-twin engine. The 2012 RZT50 has a 23 hp Kawasaki V-twin engine. That is the only major difference between the two mowers.

Greetings,

My name is Tom, also known as HD116 at Home Depot's How to Community. I am here today answering a few product questions and saw yours.

If you look on the wheels at the front of your RZT50 you will see that there is a grease fitting on each. That is where the lube point is for the front. If you go to the model at homedepot.com and click on the more information tab, you can print out the entire care and use manual.

Sorry for the dealy in response and thank you for your question.

Hello there, there is a safety function that does not allow this mower to cut in full reverse, but it I have not needed it in mowing my 2.5 acres. In fact I don't think I ever use reverse period.

No, when the mower is in full reverse the blades will turn off. This is automatic and will resume when traveling forward.

No, auto disengages the PTO and then auto engage when moving forward again. nice feature actually, most mowers cut the engine off unless you hit a cancel button this one just cuts the blades off then turns them back on when handles are pushed forward.

No it does not. When both bars are pulled back, the PTO disengages. You would have to sway side to side backwards to cut. Not sure that's a good idea though.

This mower does not cut in reverse. When the PTO is engaged, it automatically shuts off when both levers are put into reverse. It kicks back on when one is put back to the neutral or forward position.

I'm mowing 3-4 acres weekly without problem. You will probably have to fill the tank before you're finished, but there will be plenty left over.
