I can't answer for sure but I would think so. This is a small powerful air compressor. I would think using this compressor for airbrushing would work fine because I don't think you would use up the stored air as fast which would cause the compressor to run more. Not that this compressor couldn't handle it!
Also this compressor is quieter than most and fills quite quickly because of it's motor size!
I did do a little research. See video below, which may prove helpful. The video also gives me more confidence in my answer, that this unit will work and will also allow you to use it for other things if you want.
Also in regards to adapters, there are a ton from what I've seen when I Googled "1/4 to !/8 adapters".
Something I did notice, when searching for adapters and will pass on, you might want to add a "water trap" to this compressor if you decide to go this way. You might not need it but...........
I'd like to use mine to run a small paint gun for small paint jobs but I'll probably have to add an external tank to keep it from running out of air and running more frequently but I haven't gone there yet!
I do highly recommend this compressor!
