Hello! Thank you for your question! Yes, you can use the Backsplash panels the only difference would be more seams with the 18x24 inch panels then there would be with the 4x8 foot wall panels. As you will need to piece the backsplash panels together. Please feel free to direct any further questions to our customer care department. Thank you!

Hi dl98,

If there is no back splash attached to the counter top, then silicone caulk should be used at the junction of the counter top and the decorative back splash.

Hello! Thank you for your question! The wall to which you plan to install backsplash panels to needs to be freshly cleaned, free from dust, grease, wax, etc. Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster or clean, smooth tile (glazed, porcelain type tile; not porous or textured). Any porous material like highly textured drywall, plywood (or any raw wood without primer), and wallpaper unless removed, sanded and primed, will result in adhesive failure. Also any damaged, loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled and primed. Fill cracks and irregularities with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth with fine-grade sandpaper. Please feel free to contact customer care for any additional questions at 800.434.3750. Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for your interest with ACP Backsplash Ideas! The Fasade panels can be installed behind your range as long as the panels are 3-4’’ away from the direct heat source AND do not exceed temperatures over 140 degrees. Generally a good rule of thumb is if the wall gets too hot for your hand, it will be too hot for the panels. They are not recommended behind a commercial grade range. Please let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Please feel free to contact customer care for any additional questions at 800.434.3750. Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for your question! The Fasade decorative panels are made of a recycled plastic material and the finish is a foil finish that is thermo-formed into the panels. It is a faux copper finish on the panels and will not change color over time-please keep in mind the panels can only be cleaned with soap and water. Hello! Thank you for your question! One of our backsplash panels’ greatest feature is that it will fit over existing ceramic tile. We recommend using our tape adhesive over glue as it will stick to tile more aggressively and to cover any side profile gaps we recommend using our Outside corner trim. Hello! Thank you for your question! You can use Mothers car wax to assist in sealing your panel. We do not recommend using any type of chemical cleaners on our backsplash panels as the chemicals could have a reaction with the plastic or foil finish and could potentially ruin your tile. If stains do occur you can use a natural solvent such as vinegar and baking soda mix and gently rub out with a soft cloth any surface stains. Please remember as soon as food splashes on your tile to wipe it off immediately to keep it from possibly imbedding a stain into the tile. Please feel free to contact customer care for any troubleshooting tips at 800.434.3750. Thank you!

Hello! Thank you for your question! Measure and mark the border of where the opening has to be with a marker. Score along the entire border using a utility knife, making a few passes with a bit more pressure each pass. Then in the center area to be removed, cut a 1/2" to 1" triangular hole all the way through the panel. Next, using sharp scissors or tin snips, cut angled cuts from the edges of the cut triangle to the corners of the border scores. Then carefully bend each corner area along the scores until they break free. Please feel free to reach out to customer care 800.434.3750 if you have any further questions or need installation tips.

Hello! Thank you for your question! Yes, you can put our decorative Fasade panels behind a stove. We recommend to keep direct heat sources – toaster ovens, cooking burners, etc., a minimum of 3 inches away from the backsplash panel’s surface. Even though the backsplash panels are fire-retardant, they can be deformed by excessive heat (over 140 degrees Fahrenheit). The panels can be installed above or behind most stoves. Please feel free to contact customer care for additional installation tips and troubleshooting (800.434.3750).

Acceptable substrates are drywall, plaster or clean, smooth tile (glazed, porcelain type tile; not porous or textured). Any damaged, loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched, leveled and primed. Fill cracks and irregularities with wallboard compound or spackling, then sand smooth with fine-grade sandpaper.
