Customer questions and answers for
Glacier Bay 2-piece Dual Flush Elongated Toilet in White

A stylish tank cover and commode base help this Glacier Bay 2-Piece Dual-Flush Elongated Toilet add some luster to your bathroom. It supplies some nice flair, especially if you have distinctive baseboards to complement it. But the real deal-sealer about this high-efficiency toilet is its water conservation, which qualifies for the EPA’s WaterSense distinction. The top-mounted dual-option push buttons allow you to select a liquid-only 1-gallon flush or a 1.28-gallon solid flush. Either choice results in a substantial reduction of water use and likely a decrease in your water bills.

Hello LLR,

The tip on the bottom of the push rods leading from the
flush buttons should lightly touch the top of the levers on
the flush valve.

To increase the rod length, turn the rod locknut counterclockwise to loosen, then rotate the push rod counterclockwise to increase exposed length. When the desired length is achieved, turn the rod locknut clockwise, while holding the push rod, until it is tightened.

Yes, they work but not as I expected. My observation is they don't clear the bowl when the second button is pushed. I'd like more water to flow. I am trying to find a way to increase the flow amount but have not yet figured it out.

The other problem is the tank wobbles. I have had a professional plumber look at it and he says it is as good as it will get.

While the toilet looks great, the seat is cheap.

Pressing only the left button (less water) or the right button (most water) doesn't make a difference in sound or timing, and neither does pressing both at once.

Thank you for your question. The internal mechanism inside the flush valve is design that when you press the right side of the flush button (with one drop) for liquids will flush less water than the left side of the flush button (two drops) for solids. If you need help double checking the settings, please call customer service at 800-831-8383

What I did...went to Home Depot and bought some ready to use premixed grout. Various colors so choose the one you think matches best. I put a small bead between the floor and the toilet. Let is set up for about 24 hours. Once it sets up the toilet will be stable. This grout is easy to remove if and when you want to remove the toilet for whatever reason. Some use flex caulk, but this will not allow the toilet to become stable. Hope this helps!
