it should but if you are doing a lot of canning I would not use a glass cooktop on a canner .I never had luck and just keep an old coil top stove for canning ,I don't want to mess up the top with a canner .I bought a coil top and have it in my basement to use for canning .It was second hand and only cost 50 dollars .

Question
what are oven lights like are they covered or just an open bulb
I have an LG double oven and LG has not been able to repair it and I loved the sealed in glass oven lights .Plus the LG has lights in the oven that flash when it gets up to the temps that you set it at and also has nice chimes plus the interior is nice .I love the looks of the LG but not the repairs it has needed and only bought it august last year .So thinking of the frigidaire model to replace it .What do customers think of there frigidaire now

top oven is bottom oven is regular but top oven can just bake regular or convection and best thing is it has a convert button that converts the regular bake stuff to convection and i have to say it is one nice looking range and home depot has the best warranty around .I love that the ovens are the same size and this idea is great for people retired or couples just starting out that want to save energy .I have had mine for a couple of weeks and would buy it again .I have to also say that I cannot hear the fan running that is why I never wanted a convection one i heard fans are noisy and this one is not
